I'd have to agree, this is simply a fun addition someone is taking the time to do in this game.

I also agree with the argument about having to watch all the "game film" to determine the best CB, and I also agree with the fact that no one wants to do that.

Though look at the NFL all-pro team, the two CBs on that team are Asante Samuel and Antonio Cromartie. No team in the NFL would take either of those guys as far as coverage goes over Champ Bailey (in the present not for long term etc), but Samuel and Cromartie put up the flashy numbers. It's hard to put up those numbers when no one will throw the ball your way because you are that damn good, a la Champ Bailey.

Asante 6 picks and a TD last year.
Cromartie 10 picks and a TD.
Bailey 3 picks.

The question really is what deserves to be on a the All Pro team, the best cover corner, or the guy who puts up big numbers?

I actually would have, but I also thought the numbers were a tad unfair. Some teams had already had a chance to play the stat padding game(s) whereas some had not. When the original numbers were done, New Brunswick had already played the Jersey Boys, whereas Manhattan and Chicago had not. So you guys had a slightly unfair advantage.

Granted, the only person that game really helped for us was Velocity X with 12 TD's, but I think it definitely would have helped him look better. I think our whole D-Line got some help there too, each recording a sack, but I don't feel like looking atm.

Also, I decided not to vote when a certain someone whined about how someone voted and didn't include their teams QB. When I voted online for the NFL Pro Bowl teams I could have given a rats ass about how some players did, I chose guys from my favorite team unless I knew of a huge superstar that was performing well on another team, a team I didn't hate(I didn't vote for the Patriots douchebag QB).

I think it would be nice if sacks were a recorded stat for an O-Lineman, as 1 guy can record a TON of pancakes in one game, but give up multiple sacks in others. "Thrown At" would be a nice stat for Cornerbacks to help gauge their performance. I could see something like "Lead Blocks Thrown" for FB's....I think they should have more interesting information available to better gauge the performance of a player without me having to watch game film on teams I don't care about(such as every team in the Western Conference who isn't Wala Wala).

I don't mean to take away from the work that was put into this, as I think he did a hell of a good job putting it all together, it's just that I am not really interested in voting in it for multiple reasons. I apologize if that seems rude.

In the MLB, I voted for the entire Red Sox lineup to be the AL Allstar team.

GO SOX's

I think it would be a more relevant vote if everyone who voted could not vote for their own team. Would eleminate a very long discussion. As the owner of Toe Blake I am able to see who he plays against everyweek and how it stacks up. But when I vote it will not include anyone from my team. It means a little more when it is voted on by the others in the league.

Plus there are no cream puffs on our side for him to score 12 td's. But that's the way it goes when the games are simulated. This is no slag. Just the way it is

Going to the Sox game Thursday, got my fingers crossed for Manny's 500th, what a freaking awesome experience that would be.

Even though I'm a Yankees fan, I couldn't help but cheer on Jon Lester's no-hitter. That's a very inspirational story.

Yeah, I can't even imagine the emotional roller coaster he has been on, making it to the major leagues and pitching for the Red Sox, getting diagnosed with cancer, then coming back to win game 4 of the series and early the next year pitch a no hitter.

I want him to hit 499 in the 9th inning tonight to win it, then theres no time period where I have to root against him hitting it since I'll see his next at bat haha.

I am not going to participate in this seasons pro-bowl team, I have only been here 2 games and I don't know any of the players.. I don't think its fair for me to have a voice this time around.
