No. No SA Means auto anything. Players have a base break tackle roll, that varies a bit but is based on your attributes. The defender also has a base make tackle roll, which also varies a bit and is based on attributes. Whichever roll is higher a given time, wins.

When a powerback SA activates (whether its stiffarm or power thru or whatever) it gives a modifier to that break tackle roll. There is a perhaps significant chance that it activates but you still don't break the tackle, so hence it doesn't show up on the pbp since it doesn't effectively happen.

By looking at the pbp, you have no idea how often that SA activates, but rather you know how often it is successful....
