What difference does it make? I'm not too experienced(end of Season 2) but I bet I know a hell of a lot more than you do about builds and tactics.

I am a late season 1 guy who retired my first player- zach heerwagen. Also I own a team and know what I am doing in that regard.

i always thought that day 32 was the day to create your players. i think that if you do day 31, all those players will level to level 2, i think. just a thought. :\

That would be wrong. If you build on day 31, you will be a level 1 with 900 xp on day 40. I did it this season with my peewee squad.
