Am I the only one who finds it interesting that we've gone 3 pages deep and, unless I missed it, not a single Mustang and I think just 1 Coyote got mentioned so far? Seems a bit odd to me.

It's probably because not many people really care about made up awards.

Tim Harper is automatically the MVP forever. So all of this discussion is just a waste of time.

I just saw an MVP type game vs a Miami Stingers team.

Greg Alstott
Chicago HB
43 Rush, 275yds; 6 Rec, 58yds; 11 TD

proves stats can't be the main judgement. 11 TD's in 1 game?+

I still believe Chicago Mustangs are the team to beat. Their defense is incredible, and their best defender is Minister of Defense (DE) who I'd consider for MVP with 68 tackles and 11 sacks.

I admit I know very little about the Western Conference, so I can't give one there.

For my own team, the Coyotes offense is well-balanced, so it's tough to pick a player. I tend to think that our defense, especially our secondary is the main reason for our success this season. Our best player in the secondary is D'Brickashaw Smeltzer (CB) just barely over Lionel Messi (CB). Smeltzer has 45 tackles, 7 INTs, and 30 PDs. Messi has 41 tackles, 8 INTs, and 21 PDs.

Once again, Smeltzer and Messi's numbers become average if not less if you take away the 4 interceptions they each got in triple digit victories against computer teams...

dh - i wasn't ignoring it i was just trying to put through that the fact that people were saying you had so many tackles, so you should be an MVP candidate, which i didn't think was a good reason

I'm just wondering, if everyone is going to keep harping on ignoring when East teams play the really, really crappy teams, is everyone going to ignore stats from playing the Mustangs, K-Zoo, and Pushovers? If not, then that's a really dumb argument. If so, then are we going to only take stats that the people in the West got against "average" teams as well? Otherwise, that's really a bad comparison.

I think the Dumptrucks and Spartans can beat any of the top East teams on any given day...its just too bad we cant do that because I'd love to put it to rest...the stats are going to be lopsided..facts are facts...there's 5 shitty ass teams in the East and 2 Shitty teams in the West...just because Paul Crewe throws 20 less TD's and has less teams to just simply crush then Wai..he's not up for discussion? Biasness obviously is coming into play.

Hopefully next season, all the garbage teams will be fixed and bought out, and then we can see who really is the best .

That's a joke, right?

The East teams are the cream of the crop. Yes, there are more walkovers in the East, but you have to face the Mustangs/Pushovers/Coyotes. Not fun at all. DDT and the Spartans are good, but not at that level.

A team in the West would need a huge talent infusion or a lot of luck to win the championship this season.

12 Tackles with 4 INT's today, put myself back in the INT lead for the second consecutive season after starting the year with hardly any INT's.
