50% of the teams on GLB don't make the playoffs. Most on here don't gauge their success in life based on sweet sweet trophy graphics. Hell I have a closet full of golf trophies...collecting dust. Walk up to 10 complete strangers and tell them about your GLB team and how well you've done, make sure to tell them you aren't talking about a real team but dots...after they get done laughing in your face then it might dawn on you that you've wasted a tremendous amount of time and added zero value to anything.

Not to mention the level of competition of the top teams is fairly tight. If you take the average of 8 playoff teams, the odds to win a game are 1/2, so to win 2 in a row and appear in a conference championship would be close to 1/4 with some variation for how different you are than the average. So with a 1/4 scenario, to not make it in 5 tries isn't out of the range of standard statistical variance. So mathematical odds say we should have made it to that game 1 time or maybe 2. And so we missed on those 1 or 2, it's unfortunate, but it happens, and it's a testament to the quality of our opponents for holding us at bay, they have done a nice job.

I am not a tester, though I don't particularly care about the issue tbqh.

I'd be willing to bet that the powers testers have is not equal to the powers people who are making a big deal of this think they have...

I tried that, 5 out of the 10 said do you want a cookie, 2 out of the 10 laughed, 1 out of the 10 told me to get off their lawn and the other 2 said nice job kid.(in a sarcastic tone) The 2 nice jobs make me feel so much better about myself and have raised my self esteem.

I haven't read the threads so I'm not sure what this is about.. but a few seasons ago when Borg implemented offsides, there was a post going around from someone who knew someone who had access to the test server and was letting out information about how offsides would work.

It made me want to stop playing right then and there kinda. I actually contacted support about it asking what was up with that a seasons or 2 later, and don't remember getting a straight answer.

Pretty freaking lame if a select few people have access to something like this, I'm just glad I don't have to worry about it anymore if this is what it's about.
