Good game Bullets, it was a hard fought win. Like I told Monkeyskin, I respect Washington a ton. Good luck but I will say, I came home...saw the loss, went straight to the end of the game, saw the sim's stupidity. Grabbed a glass cup, walked outside and smashed it against the garage door. The End of Game Field Goal output is set to inside 30 seconds inside the Opponent's 45, there is no reason why it shouldn't have kicked a Field Goal, it takes at most 15 seconds for a field goal unit to get on the field. Either ways, good game Bullets. Hopefully this isn't the last time I'll get a chance to GM a team in the USA Pro champ game, sad it ended on such a bad note.

Congrats to the bullets, very exciting game to watch, I do hate that the sim seems to have had an impact in the game, or at least cast a shadow on it.

Kind of like a bad call impacting a real game, It happens ... doesnt make it easy to accept... but I will

Hard fought game, Hope we can get a chance to pay ya back some time!

I learned the hard way a few seasons ago that you need to set it to 40 seconds if you have no time outs remaining. Yea, it shouldn't take that long for a field goal unit to get on the field but in lol dots world, you need at least 40 seconds if you have no time outs.

Well, I'll set it to that. Galkuris was saying that a few minutes ago. Still seems completely stupid. And I wish it would let us control or have some say in when the TOs are used, this game is STUPID at using them.

See what the sim doesn't show is Smoooot didn't let the guy up to make it back to the LOS in time that last pass play, happens all the time in football and the refs let it go

This was the case two seasons ago, and apparantely today. But in between you could set it to 25 and they would kick a field goal in time.

even if we attribute the end of Q4 to the ai, it still doesn't explain the no timeout at the end of Q2.

@monkeyskin: smoot holding him down. Lol

I found the same thing after our Dryden scrimmage. I took all references to the field goal distance out of the AI and used the field position to dictate field goals. Of course, this also led to us attempting a 74 yard FG, so.... lol

I know the AI is setup to call timeouts with less than two minutes left, but it should be something that's left up to the OC to decide. Just like there's a field goal distance box, there should also be a "Use Timeouts" box where you enter a number (i.e. 60) to tell the AI when to start calling time outs.

But, it is what it is. Congrats to the Bullets. Looks like beating us in the East playoffs is the golden ticket. lol

Also, not trying to diss the bullets here. They played under the same sim as us and came out ahead. They made the plays and we didn't.

TBH there just needs to be an option to either:

A. Spend all timeouts on defense if need be.
B. If on offense, have the ability to say "Save final timeout until 3 seconds".

That way not only will the FG get kicked, we won't have any of the junk where you kick it to early and the other team wins on a drive.
