i think speed, agility, and vision ... trumps speed alone, throw in some jumping and tackling to round him out well, mostly because there should be more ability to get those up higher without completely dedicating all your point into one stat.

And for the TE with the super speed, he is useless on run plays, and i'm hoping one day bort finally alows for jamming and bumping recievers before 5 yards to allow silly things like TEs built like ashley lelie from becoming a dominant power in a position they shouldn't be playing. One bump or jamb from a SS or LB should knock him off his route just long enough to preventing him to recover to full speed by the time the qb needs to get rid of the ball.

That TE is useless on running plays... but then again, that doesn't matter because no team worth half a shit has a passing TE in on running plays with the advent of the TE1/TE2 slot.

the more speed the better my rb is lvl 10, at lvl 11 ill have 3rd capped speed, by lvl 16 ill have like 85 speed 4 sps every auto level look at all the autoleveling from lvl 11 all the way to say 40 all while working on capping agility and other stats after 3rd capping speed. now whos gonna be better once u reach the pro leagues ? somebody like me that took full advantage of immense training all my low stats to 25 without wasting any points in them, or somebody that wasted a bunch of points capping everything first. and losing benifits of the training in the long run? just my opinion flame on

im talking long run u should be better with high speed early and u would end up having higher speed later and more points to spend cause of immense training other stats .

you also have to think this is a game. the pathing isnt as accurate as the nfl right now. so u definetly need more speed to even attempt to catch some1 with even a bit less speed then u..

First, what is "immense training"?

Second, as a safety it is my job to tackle a RB before he gets past me. I am not looking to run and catch him from behind. If I am running behind him trying to catch him, I am not a good safety. On the other hand, if I have great vision and can read the play, that is much better than having high speed. Also, if I have high agility and can react and turn quickly, that is better than simply having higher speed.

Speed as a safety is less important than agility, vision, tackling and maybe even strength and confidence. The only reason people are pimping speed is because the offensive guys are all gearing up with speed. The combination of 60/60 agility/vision, imo, beats the 90+ speed (RB) guy every time. A 90+ safety does not beat a 90+ RB because the safety has a 10+ yard cushion to see, read, react to the play.

you can get to the HB faster with higher speed

you have a SS though which does not need as much speed as a FS does

Imo 100+ speed is better for trying to cover WRs than 90 speed for a FS

Well, then even with 100 speed you're screwed so who cares. You'll never be able to match speed WRs in an arms race.

Most FSs aren't in man to man coverage but providing help over the top. It's not really a matter of running stride for stride with WRs or RBs

Still have to be able to close the gap from the center of the field to get to the pass location.

Can't close the gap if you can't see the gap.

2nd cap vision and 15 zone spec works pretty well for seeing the gap, which was a horrible way to put it
