For the most part guys have stuck with me and that is one of the reasons we were able to be very good in our second season. Owning a team isn't for everyone, it is a lot of freaking work to recruit and keep guys on the team happy and wanting to come back whether you win or lose.
The bottom line is that most of the teams that are at the bottom of the BBB leagues are there for 2 reasons in my opinion.
1. They didn't put in the effort to recruit a quality team, they sent out lots of contracts but no effort in recruiting. To get the good ones you have to actually send them a note and not cut and paste. Anyone can do that and what sets your team apart. it still is a lot of work but its lazy recruiting. everyone has done it and sometimes you get a good player but for the most part you get the guy that no one else wanted.
2. Slow build teams - They choose to be bad now to be a power in the future. Their choice.
In BBB#2 from 1-8 the teams are pretty even and I can see that guys put in effort to build their teams. When you join a league don't worry about the level cap, do some research on the teams you will be competing against and recruit to beat those teams. If you want everyone to be equal buy a Pee Wee team. If you want to build a successful team be a good active owner, guys on your team will appreciate it and bring in other players they know. Only 1 team out of every 32 wins the title in each league and the best teams move up so everyone thinks they deserve a title by just staying in the league. Not the case, every season is hard work to get the team you want.
My team has high level players on it as well, but they choose to be here not because they are getting the stats but because we have built a team that will compete every season and we have a good group of guys. I have not been able to pay for their upgrades so they are sacrificing a little to be here but when I do have money they will get it. Why should teams like mine who put in the work have to tear it down so the guys who don't do the work can compete. Any owners that have more than a few CPU players on their team should not complain, they don't even have a complete roster. I stated with a basic stadium and the $1.5 million like most new teams last season and I found a way to compete.
