The problem is once Bort has Creative RR set, he is most likely going to implement bump and run coverage for the CBs to counter it which will reduce the effectiveness of creative RR.

Bump and Run is more effective against speed receivers, as opposed to those that can cut and juke. You'll be able to move a CB off with high enough agility, but if you're a straight line runner, that bump will throw you off.

Lol no. I was just creating WRs the day Usain Bolt broke the 200m World Record and I decided to create a Walter Dix as well as Usain Bolt.

Put a little move on him, then blew right past him. Of course, the fact that we had a RB in at QB probably cost us a TD.

I agree with your logic, but Bort said that when he implements bump and run it will be to combat agility guys running the creative routes, not the speed guys.

Absolutely pwned the CB AND FS!
OK my WR caught 7 passes for 143 yards and a TD against a much better team (we still lost 92-10 lol). He's now averaging over 100 ypg with creative running. I don't see anything wrong with this style.

What? But it's harder to jam a shifty receiver at the line than it is someone that just tries to go 0-60 as fast as possible.

In the real world, yes. But I saw the post he's talking about too. Bort said that bump and run will be the counter to creative route running whenever it gets implemented. Doesn't necessarily make sense, but we'll see.....

Went with exact routes today. 1 catch for 15 yards. That makes my mind up as to which one is better.

Well, since posting our season stats is now the way to debate this:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=154473
Never on Creative RR
Plays in SAPL
492.5 yards in first 4 games (0 gutted teams), including season best versus Krazy Monkeys

Look, there is no "Better Setting". For some guys it works, for others it doesn't. You need at least 60 agility to make it work. 70 makes it work with a lot more consistency.
But if you're one of those guys with 100 speed, 50 agility, it is NOT going to work for you.
