5. Manila Hitmen (Very strong team, has all the advantages of a 1 man run team, handled their 2 match ups to SEA Pro newcomers... so hard to gauge those wins yet)
The Hitmen are for real since you want to single out a team being one man runned. You may as well call it it One Man who knows what the blank he is doing. So put your Hot Mamas on the same boat and clear your throat and I really don't care who else has multiple players. I just can do something you can't. If you done talking PUT YOUR TEAM UP OR SHUT UP. Gauge that.
The Hitmen are a top notch team, but if you think that being a one man team is not a tremendous advantage then that is just plain delusional. Saying you can "do something" Sulf can't based on the Hitmen's success just does not have credibility. Some of us "can" do it but choose not to because creating a team with a variety of agents is what makes an MMO (Massive Multi-player Online Game) rewarding. If someone is going to field a one man team, why not just play Madden? You have a helluva lot more control and you can still play people online.
You never had to experience going through:
- Recruiting
- Coordinating tactics
- Dealing with unavoidable attrition (people tire of the game/ want to go to own team/ etc.)
- Trying to convince people to boost
- Trying to convince people to purchase advanced equipment
- Trying to convince people to take less money than they could get elsewhere
- Dealing with playing time politics
I would say that is about, oh, 100% of the challenges of ownership. Not to sound condescending, but can you really call yourself an "owner"? After all, an owner is supposed to be a manager. Who are you managing?
Knowledge has been dropped.
