I wouldn't write off the new teams, I know for a fact GRDs are v solid and they got beaten by Edinburgh twice last season so i reckon both these teams will have 8/8+ records.

Most promoted teams should be fringe playoff teams that slowly drift down due to players wanting championships, not being on fringe teams.
Sucks, I know, but the best way to survive the pro's is a big splash. When most teams are promoted, your just a fringe play-off team standard - make the best out of your promotion to recruit, big difference between the Pros and the AAA. But I am sure most teams are already aware of this, just stating the obvious.

Exact case of what happened to BFM.... however the agents on BFM are loyal and 95% stayed...
And going 4-12 didn't hurt recruiting either
