So are you guys going to schedule some big time scrimmages to try and move up?

yeah we are, but this year to name a few I challenged mean machine, san francisco, benitos (twice) and got shot down in all of them. There were a few others as well. Hopefully we become a little more well known so people actually accept those challenges now.

Of the 'Top 6' teams in that ranking, I would suspect that only Yetis would play you.

HHW dont do scrims normally, and Boston arent very eager either.

Benitos are much in demand, and can afford to be picky.

MEM are fully booked for the next 5 seasons, but will play you if they can schedule it, generally.

Scranton havent scrimmed a lot, but tend to be quite pickey about who they play, probably more likely to accept now your on the edges of a top 10.

7-25 will all likely play you though barring the likes of Hobos, Halifax and Dryden (CPL is just getting worse in terms of actually playing this game, there here for the forums only now.)

If you need help scheduling scrimmages, just ask. Got nothing to do all day tomorrow so I am going to spam the owners about this league challenge and send out a few other PM's about scheduling scrimmages.

Also be careful playing the Yetis, probably better to challenge a team just under the Yetis unless confident. The Yeti's eat teams for breakfast lunch and tea. Now that your a top 25 team, more teams will be looking to verse you and knock you off your mantle as well. Heck on the committee forum, A GM from this team http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1063 wants to verse you to see how good WEPL are (And no doubt will turn it into a thread on how bad we are). And JoeB doesn't do any pleading in the actual committee, I'm the only WEPL member in the committee (That shows the WEPL some love),
Wouldn't mind seeing someone else in the committee.

(For the record, I had Berlin ranked much higher )

Thank God, some more sanity to help me out over there - the CPL Bias is uncontrollable, the USPL love affair is scary and the ignorance is painful.

The thing is arguing will only do so much until we see some more results. And scheduling EEPL isn't the answer...

USPL love affair is warranted, but only for like 3 teams: Boston, MEM, and HHW. The rest are just the same as everywhere else.
CPL Bias is just because of their famous posters: Yetis are good...the rest can be unbelievable sometimes and very avg others.

I'm not going to reject a EEPL challenge, just making it one match and just hope it's a massacre I expect it to be.
Saves time for everyone
Going to send out the invites to the new teams and teams that havn't replied later tonight

I'd love to be able to play MEM or Benitos next year. We'll try to schedule both at some point I'm sure.

I can arrange scrims with two USA Pro teams and 2 CPL teams if you want, just say the word.

US Pro
Pushovers (12-4)
Oklahoma (9-7)

CPL
Yetis (16-0 or 50-3)
Cheetahs (12-4)

None of them are easy, Oklahoma are flying under the radar, but they are the lower edge of US Pro Play Offs, beat them and you can compete in US Pro, basically.

Sure, we'd love it. We welcome pretty much any competitive team who would want a scrim next year.

The only limitation we have is flex points for our owner, which are a tad low at the moment. So we may be less likely to accept challenges from teams from lower leagues to save some FP, but we'd like to play any elite team who wants a shot.
