So we won today. Albeit against a winless team. Does that give us anything?

Actually it was a joke. Nice 6 point victory over a team we beat 52-3 , by the way.

If it was the same team that you played the first week, you might have a point. You might want to look at the Tallahassee results.

How about these stats instead:

Our Offensive Starters Avg. Level- 12.09
Theirs- 11.45

Our D- 12.09
Theirs- 11.09

Our Two Deep O- 11.4
Theirs- 10.47

Our Two Deep D- 10.86
Theirs- 10

Beat them? We should just forfeit. This is going to be just like when the Greatest Football Team ever Assembled, the USC Trojans, and the pooooor Texas Longhorns played for the MNC. Why did Texas even bother to show up, for that kind of ass kicking?

Oh, wait........

I don't see Vince "Jesus Christ" Young on your team, though.

ugh. First seasons suck when you refuse to overpay.

(no, you vultures - I don't want to sell my team.)

The RPI is killing me. If our owner set our team for the first game, we may not have lost to Naperville. Huge black mark on an otherwise great season for New York.

Chuckle, I hate the idea that the Beermen, a team with 2 more losses, and a team that we beat is ranked in front of us.

I understand how the rankings work, but it is still ... irritating.

That's why you take 'articles' like this and tape them to the lockers of your players and make them angrier and more motivated to obliterate the next team they face.

Hype gives people something to talk about while they wait, but I have yet to see hype score a TD or sack a QB. Teams and gameplans will determine who wins a lot more than hype ever will.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I'm sure its real close there. Beermen have played an impressive schedule so far.

I could say the same thing about Pittsburgh being ahead of Columbus

Its very close. They have a much harder SoS than you (you have avoided 2 of the top teams). They are .01 points ahead of you. Naperville is .04 in front of you. Martha's Vineyard is .18 behind you, so that gives you an idea of the spread.
