First off, the Red MCcombs business school ranks second in the country only to Whartons at the University of Pennsylvania. Rice is a leading school of medicine and SMU has one of the best law programs in the country not including the IVY league. Not to mention the contributions Texas A&M has made. Before you go bashing the state of Texas and the schools therein, make damn sure you have your facts straight.

I feel bad responding to someone that thinks Texas falls short academically to the state of Michigan. It's like playing basketball with a special-ed kid and calling him for double dribble. Really?

Maybe you should look at some academic rankings. Just a hint, Texas' Computer Science program is top 10 in the world... their EE and Business programs are also world renowned. Rice, as mentioned above is top-tier academically. Even Texas A&M is one of the top Engineering and Vet schools in the US.

Would you like to make any claims to Michigan State being in that class? Michigan is a top notch school and I may actually get an MBA from there... but you should stop with the Texas academic bashing. It makes you look stupid.

The fact remains the same: No school in Texas holds a candle to the aeronautical engineering program at UM, which (as clearly stated) is the field of relevant academics to my statement. As long as we're gonna bring up so-called 'facts', allow me to attempt at the variety of 'factuality' that you seem to be so keen on: Gambit has emotional issues. Fact. Am I doing it right?

Did you seriously get your degree in aeronautical engineering? Well done, you join a long list of people who have done exactly the same in many schools across the world. Enjoy a long life of unprecedented self-importance.

Personally, I don't think Gambit is a stupid guy. Doesn't seem that way, anyhow. I'm just a bit concerned about the mindstate of a man who has seemingly achieved his goals and would appear to have satisfied his standards, yet sees fit to engage others in the most inane and fundamentally irrelevant conflicts he can manage to grab hold of. I'm venturing to guess he counts every little 'victory' with personal glee. This seems like the mark of someone who has very little sway or control in their own actual life.

I'm sure we have someone in here who decided to forgo the GLORIOUS field of lolaeronauticalengineering in pursuit of other, more inferior arenas. Any psychology majors present that could give us a diagnosis of this deeply troubled young man?
