I am the OC for MCXA, so our offensive problems can be placed on my shoulders. I have been experimenting with various offensive AIs/playbook combinations, which deviated from our normal gameplan and strengths, and it had pretty disastrous consequences. We also lost a few key positions in the off-season as well, and I underestimated how much we would miss them. It is a well-run team with a fantastic group of owners so we will get back on track ... hopefully in time for the playoffs.

if you guys could get your act together again (n/o) MCXA could be the revelation of the season (again )
I just hope you do it next season and dont interfere with the conference title this time

Our strategy is to let you all kick our asses again, so you don't spend a lot of time thinking about us come playoff time. Err, yea, that's it ...

I doubt that's gonna work a second time but who knows...

And we dont gameplan really Kutzy either, maybe a little "flavoring" for something that we spot in scouting .. but overall .. yeah .. we run base at everyone and force them to beat it ... thats the way to go .. not wholesale guessing like I see some teams go. Successful teams that are continually successful run the same thing all the time and just test wrinkles or new ideas in scrims .. so that they can add them to their base AI ..

There is a lot of truth in those words Randy and I've begun to learn that myself as I get deep into my 2nd season of in depth GM work. Either you have good builds or you don't. If you have good builds, all you need is that base scheme with minor tweaks. If you don't have good builds, you have to guess and gamble like crazy.

Just had to check in on the old EE Pro league for a bit.

I might be able to do it today .. other than the Lima Beans scrim, Ive broken down all the PBPs (the ones at least after we fixed up our defense and QB) and Im in good shape to think about the league. If you noticed I was already thinking about who needs to go Thats usually the first inkling that I am getting ready to post another novel.

Hrm .. I dont know though, it might be better to do it after tomorrow's games, that way I have it on even weeks 4 weeks apart. It doesnt do a lot of good to do them so close together, my assessments arent meant to be "games of the week", they are meant to reflect trends and discuss the historical context of the trends, since there are few people or no one better to discuss EE Pro history than me.

Yeah likely in prep for Week 14, though I have to spend most of saturday at various Weihnachtsmärkte because my wife wants to go .. even though the Glühwein is stupidly expensive, she doesnt feel in the christmas spirit until she goes.

Nah, you just need to use the exploits of the game over and over again. Its a proven way to win.

Yeah that is why I figured it would be about a week before you posted another. Be sure to note that the Cajuns completely changed our Offensive AI for the last two games. And the SGA game was a debacle with NO AI set, using basic tactics.

yeah no more screwing with roster prior to the offseason for us. There still is a battle for #3 so you might get lucky.
