Call it what you will, but I decided (with the a real life friend who had been with me since the beginning, baloo84) that I was tired of owning. He wanted to keep the team this season, and said he would help more, but he didn't, so I told him we were selling. I then told the team where I planned on going with my players and let them know who would fit in those teams if they wanted stay with me in a place I will GM. I didn't tell anyone who to sign with. I didn't even beg, but I did tell them they could help two organizations I have respect for like I was going to do with my players. We were a close group and for some odd reason, people on my team respected me, so alot of them went where I went to help the teams I am going to. Not all.

Thanks for the concern, but people do get tired of owning, and it happens. Questioning motives is the in thing these days, I know, but if you think we cheated the game, you can hit the support button and make your case.

I have to stand behind HUD 100% (this is coming from a guy that he suspended 3 days ago, so it's not like we are buds) He decided he didn't want to own a team anymore. Instead of Being a tool and selling everyone randomly. He allowed the squad to go CPU so his players could choose their own new homes. No one forced them to go to the Cheetahs or to TH's Stangs. The felt comfortable going to these teams and I don't know where anyone has any reason to question this.

UB, you and I are usually on the same page on things and I think you are reading too far into something that really isn't there. It's your opinion and you are entitled to it, YOU BASTARD, but I think your wrong this time.

Do you have to be so damn reasonable???

Every so often I get just the right amount of beer in me so I am calm and still lucid enough to make rationale points.

Yea, I'm talking to you. The fucking whiner.

Jesus fucking christ - just shut your fucking mouth and play the fucking game.

So he had a better social network than you, and he got some players from the gutted team. Big fucking deal - shut your fucking mouth.

Are you really surprised that a group of guys who played together - decide to move on to another team together?

Seriously, shutthefuckup.

In the real world, you have companies that dissolve, or worse, an employee leaves and a group of his co-workers decide to go with him. Is there a fucking support button to hit there? No - there isn't. You fucking pick up and move on with what you've got left and adapt because other human beings have choices that you can't control.

So, in closing, I'd like to offer you this warm cup of shut the fuck up. Don't let it burn you while you're drinking it.

Thanks Drago and CV for pointing out what's going on here.

Many of the agents on the Saints are on some of the same teams I'm on, CV's team...jrry's team...the Cannibals and the Snipers I GM for. Trust me, we knew each other beforehand and developed a good thing on the Saints.

They were not traded or told where to go. I recruited them and worked super hard to get the offensive line put together the way I did just like any other owner would. PM records can confirm this as can certain owners in Oceania Pro. They signed out of their own volition as they wanted to stay in a PRO League and have a shot at winning. Methinks you're a little miffed that you didn't sign any of the players for yourself and now can't help but bitch and moan. But I could be off-base (I'm not).

As far as the name change...after I contacted the agents and they chose to sign with the Cheetahs, I decided two things.

1. that the Saints had a good legacy in Pro and with so many of them wanting to stick together and continue their winning tradition on the Cheetahs, that the name would pay homage to that camraderie so the older players and new players on the team know they all have a place.

2. hud's helped me out alot with the ownership transition and with general things about the game, and I understand how hard it was for him to sell the Saints, a team he had invested so much time and energy and emotions into. It was hud who posted the story about Satch and everything that was going on and it was hud who was instrumental in being the liason between the game and Satch and making sure the GLB end of Rob Cross' life was taken care of. I wanted to also tip my hat to him and his accomplishments and there is no better way in GLB.

Support will be contacted. I mean, you guys even go so far as combining the team name? Make it a little more obvious Buddy.

You've been likely pushing the players to join the other team. Hopefully Bort bans you like you deserve.

And you are welcome for the concern.

I support Vrshah. These guys have known each other from back in the day so there's no collusion involved here.

Yeah ummmm seriously...I had offers coming out the wazoo and told vrshah before I signed that I wanted to keep my options open and view any incoming offers which I did but in the end, the chance to stay connected with an owner I respected and gave me my first chance to play in hud as well as go to a team with users I'm familiar with outweighed all the other offers given to me.

Exactly. Hud in no way forced us to sign...many of us wanted to stay together and wanted to stay with Hud. I also respect SND a ton and feel honored just to play on his former team but there is no colluding when the choice is made out of free will.

BTW Drago always does that JP...it's his posting style...anger.

I had 12 offers from other teams for my Nose Tackle, and I have nothing but positive things to say about Vrshah and Hud. So I decided to give Vrshah's team a chance. I could've easily brought my player to one of the other teams I GM for, and ask for a release but I decided not to.

Knowing each other for a long time makes collusion MORE likely imo.

Not that I give a shit really. Collude.
