MagiK is an awesome guy. He has a way of making his owner look smarter than he really is.

Feels good to get the monkey off our back, granted it was Oakland, but a win is a win. Looks like the schedule becomes a little kinder for us in the upcoming weeks.

That Outlaws - Thunder - Warriors run is the same lineup we just finished. Kinda' brutal, huh lol. Grats on the win today! I know you have to be relieved and yea, I'd think you guys will be looking a lot better going forward. Don't knock it because it was Oakland! Any given Sunday, and all.

Yea the combination of the schedule and just taking over after the 2nd game wasn't a lot of fun. Hopefully we can be competitive the rest of the season and come back out of the hole we dug and make the playoffs.

On paper we look like a middle of the pack team.

We got hit with that with our first 3 games... I was really hoping not to face the outlaws until the middle of the season so I had some idea what to do with them. All three are rough teams to play and having them one after another was nerve wracking.

Going 2-1 through those first 3 games was quite an accomplishment! That has to do wonders for your confidence heading toward mid-season. You still have some good opponents coming up but that was a hard way to start off lol.

It seems like the scheduling isn't all that creative...we have one game left to go in the Outlaws/Thunder/Warriors circuit but had the added bonus of playing the Vampires before that.

To top that off, our one OOC game is against the Crimson Tide. There isn't a team in GLD that has a tougher schedule.

Heh, you're right! Our schedule is the same as yours except we started with the BC Lions. I guess everyone gets that three game stretch at some point in their season.

Still I don't envy the Stars having to start off the season with it.

I would be pretty scared of facing those 3 teams also! lol, jk. Can't wait to go up against the Warriors and Thunder in the future and see just how good the Outlaws really are! By far one of the classiest leagues in the game though! I'm glad we are in such a fun league!
