nominations are over. guys this is a reminder to the committee. to get their picks done asap. I've put in most of my nominations witha few I still need to look into.
Originally posted by bbsdf I just hope nobody ignores the OTR guys. We have the most balance, and use the most intense substitution ratio in the league.
Cannon has the top QB rating, Cooter is leading the league in td's/carry, and is near the top in ypc.
Hue Jass is leading the league in pancakes. Look at what he's doing vs. the rest of the league, and compare his plays/game versus the other top OL.
Then, Look at our WR's. 3 are near the tops in the league in all stats, despite playing in an offense that completely spreads the ball around.

Sorry... you lost me as soon as you said Cannon had the top QB rating. As far as I can tell, he's not tops in any passing category.
All of the good teams in the East lean heavily one way or the other. Either they strongly favor the run, or they strongly favor the pass. Hell, every team in both leagues do the same, outside of one, and that's OTR. Look at the OTR offensive numbers and see where they stack up against the West in both rushing and passing. Take a look at Hue Jass, who leads the West in pancakes despite averaging at least 10 less plays/game than his closest competitor.
Truth is, this whole team was built on depth, and the individual numbers are going to take a hit as a result. We could focus our team around ANY of our players on offense and put up just silly numbers, but we'd rather just let you guys figure out which who you plan on stopping.
Sorry, you lost me as soon as you didn't fact-check your first point......
Cannon has a 129 QB rating. Chris Happy is 2nd in the league with a 126.
For the record, Cannon might be the best in the West (I never even checked), but (and please take notes here) the West is a conference. Cannon isn't the best anything in the league (which includes both East and West) that I can tell.
I'm not interested in putting him down since I'm sure he's a fine young man. Just think it's funny when people make bold statements that are so easily refuted with facts and then get their panties twisted when it is pointed out.
I really hope he makes the Pro Bowl team. He would have my vote if I had a vote to give.
