haha no.. and it wasn't as bad as the score indicated.. I think Fanatix played all of the big 3 pretty well in terms of yardage.. (which imo does mean something in GLB).. I don't totally dislike our chances against any of the top three in alpha.

The truth is this is probably the best Fanatix team we've had and it took a LOT of work, some more than others, to get it where it is this season.. Agents leaving, losing interest and a shitty stadium is a few reasons to break it up.

And it still wouldn't shock me to make it to the championship game this season.

Who? The team who presumably used their +5 boosts for our game (at least the owners ten players probably did?) who still lost by 18 (25 really, they scored a TD late). As much as I can respect a team, I'm realistic. Maulers are not on the same level as Detroit is. GCP was there, but I'm not sure if GM real life actions are making them have weaker gameplans. Dunno, but I know GCP is deadly in the playoffs. So, much respect is paid to the Maulers for everything they have done and fighting tooth and nail to earn everything in the Pros, but I'm not so certain playoffs will be any diffrent than regular season. Temp boosts aside since they can't be used in the playoffs to add the always fun "random" into a huge game of "random", straight up roster to roster and tactics to tactics, I don't see it even being close until we play GCP (if we do) in the title game .

We hate GCP because they always seemed to knock us out of the playoffs.

It's pretty sad that other then Greek Fire which we manually scheduled the friendly, all of our scrims will be massive blowouts. I guess I'll go for.......500 total points?

As for the Greek game, I'm looking forward to it. I think we've got things going better and can give it a decent run. Chemistry isn't helping us and with the need to make quite a few moves this offseason, it won't get much better.

Bad idea to overlook Vilnius cappy. They're pretty solid.

I'm not in charge of gameplanning, so it has no impact on the team. Forum posts don't reflect what we do as a team. Imo they're not a title contender but it's simply my opinion.

Yeah. We beat both Vilnius and GCP last year and played both teams fairly evenly this season.....Detroit, well they would certainly beat us the vast majority of the times but I thought we did okay except for my hyped up blitz package which opened up two huge running plays. lol

We almost gutted before this season but I wanted to keep it together one last season to make our best run. I'd love to keep the thing together but like Millen said, we have too many guys who lost interest in the game and that were leaving. We had a recruiting drive before the season but it seemed to go nowhere....replacing all these guys would have just knocked us down a notch and we have been playing catch up to the elite teams about as long as I have been on the team.

The team in Canada I'm excited about because there we have a chance to actually earn our way into a Pro League and that challenge excites me. Plus that team is off on a better foot to start out with. Better agent interest and builds from the start.

I will miss what EE Pro used to be but I will not miss what it has become this season.......a wasteland of gutted teams. So we'll add another corpse to the pile but that is the way it goes I guess.

We'll add NFL to the list of teams to send down to AA or whatever I'm sure. Sorry to see you guys go.

I'm not complaining in the least, I can respect a teams decision to end it at the end of a season like NFL is. Congrats on what you have done already.

No congratulations neccesary. If we don't win it all this season, then we haven't done anything but quit and ask for a do-over.
