There's one 5 minutes from where I work, right next door to Bass Pro. Best burgers around (especially since our Fuddrucker's closed), and they don't cost too much. Plus, Bass Pro is a good way to kill a couple of hours.

mmmmm.....fudruckers. There was a burger joint in Galveston that had the same principle (order basic burger and fix it up yourself).....but they had THE BEST onion rings in the world.

Hmmm....I hope they're still around....they were right on the seawall.

What were they called? Galveston is my girlfriend's favorite vacation spot (we've been 3 times in 6 years). We've always stayed in the dumpy Sandpiper Inn right on the beach just off Seawall. We might be going back out there in November.

You've got a point. That's mainly why we're not sure if we're going or not.

It was (and hopefully still is) called The Spot. It had a big sign and a white and blue building. It has a real nice view of the brown water .
