Another BBB 7 signing the petition. The 7 is extremely competitive and has active forums. I want to stay in the USA region and with the fellow team owner's we have in the 7. Saw Baustin and jimo signed, so thought I would too. It's not a 15 issue, but also a 7 issue also. Probably many other leagues too.

I've got players in BBB #7 and #15. Honestly, I like both leagues, and would like to see them stay together.

I have to admit though, the scores are getting out of hand, and something needs to be done. Being the bottom rung on the ladder is not helping. Only having two teams promote is not keeping up with relegation and gutting.

BBB has to be about the most difficult league to rebuild in. There is no dropping down to find equal competition. When owners realize it could be several seasons before they are even competitive, they become discouraged, give up the team, and the cycle starts over at square one. Starting from scratch in leagues formed in season 2 would be a nightmare. It's hard to recruit players to a playoff team, never mind one that will be lucky to win 1-2 games a year.

If these two leagues are indicative of all BBB, there are 5-6 full leagues of teams that are just not competitive. Obviously something needs to done, I don't have a perfect solution, but I would like to see an answer that keeps leagues relatively intact.

Yeah, this is why I mentioned that we'd love to get rid of the gut jobs, and some people might want to move. I'm all for limited re-alignment or being moved or something... I'd just like to keep the bunch of competitive teams together. Even just in the BBB 15 East, Gulf State, Detroit, Atlanta, NBSK, both Miamis, Vice City, Akron, Salem and Scranton WB are all very good teams who can compete with one another or our team (before we moved) for a playoff spot.

So you would rather have a few competitive teams than a whole league of them? Why don't you all let them decide what they are going to do first before you start getting upset. You are crying about something that they are still talking about.

A couple of points... one... if we don't 'cry' about it, they'll assume everyone is fine with busting up the leagues.

And two.... Salem made the playoffs last season. The season before that they were totally gutted. People who have patience and are willing to work can take a gutted team and do something with it. Right now we've got a couple of other teams that are recovering nicely, too, with lots of encouragement from the rest of us.

So, are youa stat pad type who enjoy playing teams like those are the bottom of your league? I do not think so since you are using some logic. However, looking at your league I see some pretty nasty blowouts. You would rather play those than other teams of the same caliber as the others? Why rebuild when a team can be competitive now?

He's saying all the teams are competitive, even the ones who were recently gutted. Sure, not right away, but most do build up to playoff caliber teams.

We want to keep them together because we like all the people we play right now on personality, not immediate competition. We know the people who work hard on rebuilding a gutted team, are people we would like to develop rivalry's with for when they do become competitive. Which in can be 2 or even 1 seasons.

We don't want to be put with a random group of people who may or may not be people who contribute to the league's forums and development. We don't care if they move and rename the leagues to colors, we just want the people in our league to stay together.

Note the original post - we'd be fine with getting rid of the gut jobs. However, in the BBB 15 East alone, there are 10 competitive teams and 3 more who are very close to competitive with those teams after building up for the past few season. In addition, New Hampshire, who moved up last season, has a lot of rivalries built up there, and wants to stay somewhere within a division of those teams.

Again - I think /everyone/ who agreed here would love to have teams like the Michigan Rage put somewhere that they'd have a chance and let a competitive team come in. None of us enjoy those games.

/However/ unlike a lot of divisions, most of the group is actually quite competitive with each other. Its not 3 or 4 powerhouses and a ton of gut jobs. Season before last, one 9-7 team had a home game while 2 9-7 teams missed the playoffs - its that close here. And of the teams below those, 2 of the sub 9-7 teams went on to make the playoffs the following season.

That's good competition, a lot of rivalries, and a lot of personalities and friendly rivals who are indicating that, whatever they decide to do, the /competitive/ teams in the division would like to end up together.
