I've got players in BBB #7 and #15. Honestly, I like both leagues, and would like to see them stay together.
I have to admit though, the scores are getting out of hand, and something needs to be done. Being the bottom rung on the ladder is not helping. Only having two teams promote is not keeping up with relegation and gutting.
BBB has to be about the most difficult league to rebuild in. There is no dropping down to find equal competition. When owners realize it could be several seasons before they are even competitive, they become discouraged, give up the team, and the cycle starts over at square one. Starting from scratch in leagues formed in season 2 would be a nightmare. It's hard to recruit players to a playoff team, never mind one that will be lucky to win 1-2 games a year.
If these two leagues are indicative of all BBB, there are 5-6 full leagues of teams that are just not competitive. Obviously something needs to done, I don't have a perfect solution, but I would like to see an answer that keeps leagues relatively intact.
Yeah, this is why I mentioned that we'd love to get rid of the gut jobs, and some people might want to move. I'm all for limited re-alignment or being moved or something... I'd just like to keep the bunch of competitive teams together. Even just in the BBB 15 East, Gulf State, Detroit, Atlanta, NBSK, both Miamis, Vice City, Akron, Salem and Scranton WB are all very good teams who can compete with one another or our team (before we moved) for a playoff spot.
