Yeah, I'm glad I got to the game when I did. I remember when TSE first bought his team and had a long post in the 'Teams Looking for Players' forum, and was impressed by my WRs 33 speed!

And we had to walk uphill both ways to and from each forum!

I remember when the 'Teams Looking for Players' forum actualy worked. Back when everyone wanted lvl 4-7 guys. Back when you could build a team, without sending out recruiting pm's, or writing anything in the box to go along with the offer. Back when wr's and Cb's would pm you asking to play for you. Before 1000 post recruiting threads. Back when the Mustangs and DDT were dominant. Before the cobra kai.

When a level 4 was the hottest shit on the block - all you'd have to do was PM any owner and you'd get that hefty pay check and a starting role guaranteed. Before slow building, power leveling, Hogglife... How I miss the Golden Age of GLB.
