Well we'll be trying real hard to pull off our 2nd upset of the year.. but unlike New Brunswick, we can't sneak up on them lol (No disrespect to NB.) We have Chicago's full attention.

I would give you guys a chance albeit it a small chance. Chicago has to play all the top teams still though. 2nd Half of the season is hard for most of the top teams now. We still have you, chicago, new york and lima in 4 of the 8 games.

I think they have a pretty good chance! It will be a tough game!
We are finally narrowing it down, it's getting close to the time to start facing the cream of the crop in our League...all the way down to the Wala Wala Nutballs...
It is going to get fun here shortly!

do the 8-0 teams have a chance to clinch a spot next week?
when you think about it 16 teams 8 spots, 8-8 teams might get in..
not sure
and we are a bunch of nutballs, but that games not going to be as good if it was next week as someones going to have to relax a few players maybe.. who knows, we hardly had to do any defensive plays this week and get to do a day of intense training..

saying you sneaked up on us is not disrespecting us at all.
Gulf State is a pretty good team. I'm happy we won this big.
Here is my East Rundown:
Biggest news of the week is Michigan. Atlanta isn't a lousy team, with a big blowout Michigan makes a bid to be considered with the contenders at the top of the conference.
Vice City is among the last of the all CPU teams. Manhattan's win not so impressive, but a big win non-the-less.
Chicago wins, but again doesn't win any style points against a mid level team in Miami.
NY bounces back against Miami, another midlevel team. Nothing impressive though (takes a week or two to recover your energy after playing us
)
That is all the news from the east. Chicago doesn't look particularly impressive and hasn't faced any of the conference contenders yet, but until someone beats them, they keep their claim to the top spot.
Coming up: Michigan has a 4 game stretch that includes MM, Chicago, and NY. We'll know then if they are a contender or pretender.
MM gets Akron, who is slightly better than some of the patsys they've played, so will be interesting to see if they keep up the gaudy scores.
New Brunswick starts its easiest 4 game stretch of the season until they face New Hampshire and then Chicago.
Chicago gets a pop quiz in Michigan and a tune-up in Scranton, and a week of in Jersey Boys. So we still won't know too much about this team until the end of the season when they face a murderer's row of all the top teams in the league over a 5 game stretch that goes New Hampshire, Manhattan, New Brunswick, New York, and Wala Wala. The good news for them is that they will already have clinched a playoff spot.

I can't wait for this stretch.. Out of the Big 4 (NB, MM, Chicago, NY) we're 1-0 so far
, I'd accept 2-2 and believe that's how we'll end up, but seriously hoping for 3-1.. That might be enough for us to push into the Big 4 and make it a Big 5!

You did OK vs a second tier team. Nothing that makes a statement. I think Gulf State, who we played today, is evenly matched with Honolulu. By the way, I think Gulf State has a very reasonable chance to o 6-2 the rest of the way and sneak into the playoffs. Michigan will be a huge game for them. Conversely, Honolulu could go 3-5 the rest of the way and limp into the playoffs.

Chris,
With the exception of us, you are the only ones to have a win against a top Eastern team. So yes, you get credit for that for sure.

i think people are getting used to what we do, 30-0 = ok
jk, i know what you mean.. i feel good about what we did though, we went in a beat the 4th best team on our side, and everyone gets to train heavy until next game as all defense didnt work much..
i leveled my guy to 11, peek at his stats if you want

I ended the game with 85 energy after our defense did their jobs so MMs defense will at least be 100 for the next game vs Akron. I cant wait for the tougher games. Itll give us a look into what to expect for playoffs. Id rather lose all of them in reg season and have a peek into the future. Hell look at what the NYG did. Patriots 18-1
Chicago vs Michigan will be my pick for game of the week though!

this is an interesting one.. mayhem just came off the "easy 6" and with a huge upset would be really looking good for playoffs.. their weakness is defense but rushmore never scores much..
