You guys just don't understand baseball. It's a drinking game. Just not for the players.

as a DC i enjoy the amount of Creativity I have with the Defensive Play Creator. I figure that an OPC would spark same interest among other players. yes DC's would have to adjust, but when do they not have to adjust? I am sure there will be plays that will need to be buffed just like on Defense. if altering a play from game to game is an issue why not set a max # of plays allowed and freeze the OPC once the season starts.
Among other things reasons, the main one is that defense is reactive.
Instead of planning against the deck of however many offensive plays currently exist, DCs would have to plan against an infinite deck. The only way to plan against an infinite deck is running the broadest, safest possible defense.
It is admittedly less of a concern in actual football, because coaches don't decide their entire defensive play calling before the game. If there was a sort of real time play calling then...maybe?

Imagine trying to defend every one of GLB's most impossible defended routes in a game from every formation. DC's won't adjust. They will just pray with things like pass deflect dlines and INT CB's because there is no stopping that.

As a GM from season 1 (when being a "GM" entailed doing everything) I miss the trading and money having meaning.
Trading has been dead for ages, no one is ever put on the trade block, if you need a player midseason with an inactive agent gone, you have to find someone on an abandoned CPU team or beg one of the guys to leave the Dleague.
Some of my best acquisitions in early GLB were springing disgruntled players from deep teams for cash to build their stadiums. A guy is unhappy with Playing time, or has a spat with a coordinator/owner, and you bring him in and help that team out with their stadium. I miss those days.
1. Bring back trading cash for players
2. Make cash relevant again to the players
3. Allow agents to stock their EQ. So that once purchased, it doesnt have to go away when a player retires, it can be used on any player in your stable.
4. PR/KR TD's are ridiculous. There should never be games with 2+ ST return TD's. This doesnt happen in real life...even when the Browns play.
5. Turnovers are too down. We see 8-12 PR TD's a season, but my Prep team forced 0 fumbles and had 4 INT for 1yd returned the entire season? Can we balance these two factors a little? Less ST TD's, more defensive turnovers.

4. If this is happening to you, you need to fix ur ST's. Because it isn't happening at all to any teams who give ST's a simple look.
5. Turnovers really aren't that down. Defensive TD's are though. You are talking about prep league where people are still working on speed and not on the essentials that make those turnovers happen (catching, strength, tackling, % AEQ). Unless the plan is make Bort plant those things artificially in regardless of build you won't be seeing huge increases in those things at that level.

Too much work owning and coordinating. I have done both and they are thankless jobs. Truthfully, you should gift the owners and coordinators instead of charging owners flex. And the result is shrinkage of the number of teams. Right now I have a couple of really good players who can't find good teams. That tells me that the game has died. And why? Too much time to run teams with minimal payback.
I also like Bhall's points about WL. I really don't care about being in PRO. If you can't be in WL, you fold. That isn't good for the game either.

haha.It might actually inspire more zone d because why not? Set up a bunch of zone formations, set your DBs to INT, and hope for the best! I think I like this....

id say that WR is average at best.
but this game has been out for like 5 years, of course its going to be this dead. the game is about as good as it is going to get.

Allow the CB's, Safeties and LB's to be moved to anywhere in the backfield when creating a defensive play. The defensive AI is way too limited IMO.
