On defense our LBs have great builds on paper but we are just a hair too slow to shut the TE and scat backs down and we are just a hair too weak to stop the power backs.



I think a lot of teams are struggling with this because of the custom slots on offense without the same thing on defense.

Something also needs to keep TEs from being the fastest player on the team...but I also think the path the LOLBs take is wrong in general, especially when dealing with an inside route.

That's ok, the Rams realized their mistake, are rebuilding and are ok with throwing some cash around at young FAs with a ton of upside.(see Butler from NYG and Brown from Balt) We'll be back soon, the Bears need Angelo to be something he's not(a risk taker) before they can be back...which I doubt will happen. I do wish you could fire Lovie and he'd come back to STL though.

it's ownership, they've always been cheap. they think we're still the Decatur Staleys tbh

Ownership, keep on trucking. The Rams will be back Kr0n...you can set your hat on that. I feel really good about Spags as a coach so I think we might be a contender as soon as August of 2010.

<------ Was very happy STL hired Spags after hearing Jason Garrett rumors. I can't wait to see what he does with STL's 3 young, talented D-lineman.(Long, Carriker and Ryan)

Well, far as I see it, I'm glad he didnt go to someone in the NFC East. I wish him nothing but the best, he made the Giants defense pretty fierce from the ashes of crap he began with.

Hopefully he'll help us rebuild even faster. We don't have a ton of holes to fill but the ones we do, need some major work.
