Why is it that time and time again you go out of your way to show what an idiot you are? I do have a say in this, as an owner, as a an oceania league member, as someone who initially defended Billyvassi's actions unti, it was revealed tha he lied to everyone, mods included. He is lying, everyone knows he's lying. I've had over 60 PMs from various owners and players in this league thanking me for keeping this thread going. They know Cats and Billy lied, they know the Bandits involved are scum, they just don't want to get involved on the board, and I understand that.

Maybe one of the numerous Bandits players or the 2-3 other people that are defending all of this can explain why exactly it is ok? Not just the illicit dealing by Billyvassi, but the outright lying and coverup by Catspaw (since neither of them have uttered one word in their own defense...not that they could because they're guilty as fuck).

...and if you do finally come up with a suitable excuse, let me know. Because I'd like to trade the lvl 17 C and G (will be level 20 and 21 after boosting at season's end) exclusively to the Canberra Strike for their inactive players...because you know, that'd be totally fair too...

People know what happened. Myself, I believe that the GM who blew up the team is a cancer and should be pared out of GLB, but I don't think collusion happened. Other people have different views. But at this point... I **think** everyone has enough details to make up their own mind, and I think it's high-profile enough that everyone knows who's-who, and I'm sure Bort or DD are aware of it as well.

Continuing to bring it up and rehash it just makes you out to be the bitter guy who will yell at kids to get out of his yard. And your 60 double-secret lovefest e-mails don't do anything to change it.

Don't you have anything better to do than cause waves and get involved in someone else's issues? When it comes to GLB I have playoffs to get ready for. Don't you? Two things. In response to my thoughts, shouting me down doesn't work. "If you want the topic to die, don't add to it" = "Let me have the floor all to myself." Some people agree with your view. Some disagree. Do you honestly think that there is anything that can be added that hasn't been brought up at least 5 times in the 38 pages? If not... it's time to wrap a bow around it. (Oh, and "double secret probation" comes from Animal House... one of the all-time classic movies. Not one I like, but I at least know the line.)

As for people who don't have better things to do... you HAVE better things to do. You are at a cabin on a lake. And you choose to spend that time... in here. At least I'm doing this while I get paid holiday hours by the company. You have my pity.

What McSpiffy said. I too went away for the weekend, leaving my team in the capable hands of my GMs. Lake house, decent weather. They did so well they are taking care of the last game just to get the experience.

GLB? I had better things to do. But I love getting paid to look at GLB for 5 minutes every hour or so.

Ballbright's strategy on this one seems to be as follows:

1) Claim, as an Oceania league member, that you have a vested interest in what happens.
2) On the rare occasion that someone openly agrees with you, applaud them for their moral fortitude.
3) In the more frequent case that someone openly disagrees with you, tell them that they have no business posting on this thread (even though they have just as much business as he does, since we're all Oceania Pro members).
4) If someone goes the McSpiffey route, and presentes a moderate, rational, and altogether reasonable viewpoint on the matter, liken him to a 'pathetic housewife'.

It's certainly worked wonders for you for 38 pages and running, now. BTW, I find it pretty difficult to believe that over 60 people have PMed you showing their support, yet only a couple will actually post on this thread.

Right now I'm chuckling at Catspaw27 trying to buddy up to everyone...it's hilarious how he is trying to duck the lair tag by cozying to everyone...what a douche.

Going to the lake my ass Catspaw, you were sitting around the house trying to figure out ways to cheat your kids at monopoly...or whatever liars like you do on the weekend.

It's clear as day that a team was gutted, sure, and that Catspaw probably overreacted pretty severely in how he dealt with Joe. I still haven't seen any compelling proof of collusion, however, and on top of that I wouldn't really even care if there was proof.

I wonder what the people on your new team think of you right now.

Well, here is how I summarize it. We are all competitive people by nature otherwise we would not be on this site spending money to create make believe players and play make believe games. You can also see peoples competitive nature come out in the forums as well. I stand behind joemakala for this reason. I would hate to have spent the money to create a player who has been a good contributor on a successful team, and then have it all taken away because the owner overreacted about an issue in which I was trying to HELP the team. Not to mention possibly, or more than likely will be traded to a crap team because he will be wanting retribution for this post in the forums.
