Yeah, it causes an error with calculating salary cap, since it is tied to the league rather than the team.

I guess I could make it default to using rookie level salary if not in a league.

Or just make a league zero with rookie salary.

Definitely something to consider, then we don't have to guesstimate demand and it just automatically makes new teams then a script would assign them to leagues once the season starts.

It's sketchy with continuing it though...it makes sense to just be able to buy your team midseason instead of sitting on a waitlist, but then signing players is weird since they wouldn't get XP or anything.

I think it makes sense before the game really starts. After that I don't think it has the same advantages.

I'd guess we don't have enough time to really make drastic changes.

Bort and I are finishing up the last two or three things to do before launch right now.

Hopefully they have expanded the lifetime of the players from what I was reading a while back. Should really be 10 seasons at the top level.

Well yeah, but your question was if there was a forced reset, I answered your question, if you already knew the answer, why ask it?

We're running a script right now on GLB2 to generate about 5,000 CPU players to speed up the league creating process.

CPUs are still generally bad, but they are different than GLB CPUs.

Each CPU is actually a real player now, they gain XP the same as a normal player, then spend their points kind of randomly, so if you wanted you could keep the same couple CPUs on your team or whatever throughout the seasons and they would "grow" along with the rest of your team.

Some of them actually turn out with pretty decent builds.

Will we be able to see the builds? That's always been something I don't like about the current game.

Sorry if this has been asked......

How does boosting work? Is it still 3 boosts per season?
What is the highest level your player can achieve?

Boosts and levels are no longer tied.

Each season your bot gains 5 levels. Each season your bot can boost SP twice. Your level does not increase when you boost. You can also do career boosts and Ability Point boosts.

A. What Air said, can you see their builds?

B. Can you cut the shitty ones and re-sign the good ones at will in hopes of building a winner through survival of the fittest?

You can't see their builds.

You can cut the shitty ones and re-sign the good ones.
