When the game is launched, what will the time window be to buy teams, create players etc, to start on a level playing field with the guys being able to log on during the launch day?

Buy teams...we really have no idea what demand will be or how many leagues to make, so really have no idea.

Players can be made any time during the first season and not be behind.

He's not going to start the season right away, it will be like it is now, you'll most likely have 10-12 days to create, set up teams, you'll be able to buy teams anytime, although if he's smart, he'll hold off on a majority of teams. Everyone is going to start off at rookie though, and it looks like you can create anytime and be on a level playing field since there aren't alg's or training.

It won't be 10-12 days.

It will probably be closer to 3.

One more question, will you be able to buy a team and have it competitive at the highest level like in GLB1 for a lifetime, or will there some kind of forced resets? Really hope it is the first one. Just not sure I understand the league structure fully.

I would suggest making it a little longer, you know people are going to wait until the last second and then bitch about it

From what I read, there isn't a decline, so players can play forever.

Players have to move on to retirement homes eventually, other than that, no you don't have to reset your team unless it's sold off.

New teams only start at rookie level, you won't be able to buy higher tiered teams if they go CPU.

I think players will go into some kind of "legend" status at some point, making them unavailable to the primary leagues?

Hopefully they have expanded the lifetime of the players from what I was reading a while back. Should really be 10 seasons at the top level.

But players have a timeframe of like 50 days to be made with no loss.

People can buy any CPU rookie teams during the season if they are latecomers. Three days seems like it will be enough to judge the initial influx of team purchases.

I'm sure if after three days we are still needing to make leagues left and right we will extend the time, but yeah. Getting the season going sooner is better than later.

Will you buy a team, and then at a later stage be placed in a random league? Might be a better idea than to fill them up gradually?

Makes sense actually, but I don't think the code is currently capable of handling teams with a null league. I'll have to talk to Bort.
