No they are defenses that Bort made up or at least kinda based off GLB1 d plays. They started out as defenses that were drawn from GLB1 but were modified to some different layouts with some more realistic defense names. The thing is that all the plays say something like
Medium 1-2WR Pass/Run Man Defense
Meaning that play can only be used currently against 1 or 2 WR sets. Though when you get to 3-5 WR D plays they get a bit tricky as you would certainly like to use some of them against pure pass offenses using 2 WR but they will generally leave a HB, FB, or TE open because they weren't technically built for 2 WR sets.
It gets sort of confusing sometimes and there are sort of limited plays to pick from as far as nickel, dime, quarter sets against 2 WR. Which makes 2 WR a pretty good overall scheme to use the way it is.
