The fix costs a bit of CPU time, but it's almost exactly the same as the old replay rewrite worked, so if the combined script worked well, then it should still work now. I haven't tried it on firefox 3.5.3, but I'd think if that were an issue, someone would have said something by now.
But assuming your computer is in proper working order, your computer shouldn't be an issue. It could always be a quirk with your graphics card drivers though, especially if you've got one of those awful Intel chips. I'll upload a version with the field fix removed and see if that helps any.
And I do have a Pentium 3 around here, and on Linux at least, it runs replays just fine. The Pentium 2 doesn't do so well though.

graphics card is an 8800 gts. i just updated the drivers a few minutes ago to see if that solved anything but no luck. gonna pm raiders and see if we have any firefox- or hardware-related settings in common to see if we can figure this out.
