We will be taking the website offline tomorrow night starting between 10 and 11pm Pacific time. We will be upgrading some code and moving some data around to prepare our platform for the launch of our new game.

The new game will not be launching tomorrow night (we are only upgrading in preparation for it) , but we will be launching a portion of the new platform with some of the new social features!

Also of note to probably very few of you: The IP address of goallineblitz.com will be changing as DNS updates over the next day or so. This does not affect most of you, and should be seamless, but there may be a few of you who are accessing the site via the IP address (to get around work firewalls, you tricky people you), and the old one will no longer work in the future.

So it sounds like you're getting close, what's holding you all back from guesstimating a release date? What do you think is still holding you back?

Mainly the things we don't know about.

It's pretty common in development to think you're almost done...but wait, there's this to do, and this, and this, oh and we should tweak that, and we should polish that, oh and this small thing needs works out, and this, and that.

The core game has been done for months, but there's dozens of little niggling things that have needed finished before launch, and every time you think you have most of them done, more pop up. I've just finished fully fleshing out the respec system tonight.

I feel pretty confident in saying "Soon", though. I think most of the essential essentials are done or close enough to done that they can be completed within an hour or so.
