To be honest, I don't think I could work on the same project for five years. Creative minds want to create new things, not just fix their old creations. Bort should hand the reins over on this game to someone else who has plans to "finish" the product.
I took an entrepreneurship class in my undergrad, they said that there are creative types that are just geared to do different things.
Creator: can create something from nothing, spin together a project from conception.
Innovator: can see what that first person has done and expand the idea into new realms.
Implementor: cannot create from nothing, but can take the grand concepts of others and deliver an implemented product.
Suggestor: sees ways of improving on the designs of others, but does not generally design whole products themselves.
Critics: the rest of you.
