Brilliant!

No sour grapes just to you...but to the state of the game right now...it's been said before but I'll say it again. This season sucks and is the worse since I've been playing the game.

btw..Drago raise the cry meter up some

Can't say that hasn't been our game plan forever. Passing is contingent on how well our running game is going. If you can't stop it, you won't see our passing game.

We do give you different formations and different backs though.

yea I know it's different formations...and again it's not really directed just at you guys. You're doing what the sim allows you to do, and I know that if the Hedgehogs were geared to this style of play, we'd be using it the same. But we're not. We got here playing a balanced offense and except for the protest game against Lincoln, which rubbed us the wrong way as much as it did them, have never tried to exploit the sim.

37 runs out of 38 plays is just fuckin' stupid.

Getting pancaked by the starting RG 27 times in the game sure doesn't help.

GG though Chicago. Take this season for what it is, 1920s 'football', and bad football at that

no offense taken. My offenses have done this since I became an OC in season 2 when I owned the Heroes. Honestly, pro teams have been doing this in scrimmages since season 5 so I'm honestly not entirely sure why the mass griping never took place sooner.

Hell, the Wolfpack beat the Heroes back in season 4 all running. Let me pull up the link.

they ran all the way to the title, the above game being the closest of the 4 playoff games for them, I think.

I believe Boston won two championships with a similar offense. Although I was not around at the time so I wasn't following it that closely and could be wrong.

Really, the only problem this season is that with a crappy passing game to start the year, EVERYONE jumped on the bandwagon. Beyond that, I am not sure the running game is much different. The problems have just been hid in the past because there were other ways to win.

Yea but look at the score....a game like that I don't mind. Both teams are rushing and still stopping each other. Both teams are getting popped and dropping the ball. Now a player just runs thru 8 players and still outruns everyone else 80 yards to the endzone.

Build my defensive players faster, stronger, more agile and with more vision than 3 positions can do on the offense oh yea and still have the stamina to stay on the field.

Fuck off Bort

The Wolfpack, bless their souls, got 125 pancakes today against what I'd like to believe is a somewhat evenly matched team. I agree that the pass game is broken, but to say the run game is the same isn't quite correct imo...

And no, we aren't just a team full of guys with 50 strength obviously...

Can't argue. Sent you a PM too, btw. Wanted to make sure you understood the context of my previous posts here.

the pancake change is pretty overrated. A lot of very good linemen aren't getting a ton, including my own OT who actually IS on kick returns.

and also true....

We won a lot of big games over the past 3-4 seasons by switching from balance to run heavy when it counted.
