Silly me, I posted this on the open suggestion forum because I didn't see this thread:

Once a stadium is built, there isn't much more it can do (other than having Home Field advantage in the play-offs). How about making some (expensive) "SA's" for stadiums? Some suggestions:

Weather: Poor weather later in the season making it more difficult on the visiting team

Loud Crowd: Crowd noise that will increase the likelyhood the visiting team will false start/jump offside (can you tell I'm from Seattle)

Great Locker room: Nicer than just a cold shower, adds to morale

BIG screen: adds to crowd noise

Make them expensive and only available AFTER a stadium is 100%

The Bort Updates have been long time coming...

Still waiting for some of this, should make the financial side and stadium stuff more interesting.

First time reading this, but I love this idea. Gives us some customization for our stadiums, and would overall make the game more fun.

I really like this suggestion a lot. I was about to post a similar idea but then I found this suggestion. Especially the maintance of stadiums is great. Teams could keep their stadium in lower leagues but will have to pay a lot more to maintain it compared to smaller stadiums.
This would be, in my opinion, much more effective than just reseting everything when teams ask for demotion.

Yup, this was the idea I posted on a few of the 'Demotion' omg threads.

The option they could have used to expand upon this would have been
'If a team is at AA level but the players on said team is at 14 level, the stadium will be locked down to level 14 settings for Ticket Sales prices, Concessions, etc. Upkeep (if he ever implemented it) would be based upon the AA level sections costs for all built sections, not just the Unlocked sections. If a team is in lvl 14 League, players are within the lvl 14 Parameters, the Stadium would be locked to the level 14 Guidelines & be responsible for the Unlocked level 14 Upkeep sections only.'

This would force teams that gut to pay the price of doing so.

Reward the teams that play within their levels, Lock out sections based upon Cap Levels, make Maintenance cost for those with low level players in high Cap Levels.
Also, make it run on a Game By Game basis to get those teams that gut mid-season & have the Maintenance Cost come from the Total sales for each game.
