Yes we are serious, many of us have built our teams from within.

Answer one question, did you trade for these players? Or were they released to FA, then you signed them all? If its the latter, that is gutting, and you shouldn't be defending yourself. If you did the former, and traded valuable assets of your team to balance the trade, then you have a point. So lets hear an answer.

The gutting rule is on the main forum posted by Bork. They have kicked out owners in the past for gutting teams.

Taken directly from the Bort post on this issue:

'Day Trading' - Signing free agents to contracts in order to turn around and sell them to the highest bidder. Possibly also trading or buying players from other teams in order to do this as well.

'Collusion' - Two or more people working together to build up one team at the expense of another.

'Cheating' - A person using multiple accounts to buy teams and trade to their main team in order to stock it up on cash or players.

'Gutting' - Buying a team, stripping it of its resources and then selling the team back for the next poor sucker to buy.


Lets see did the present problem involved two people? Mamba and Alcapown - CHECK.

Did one team get built up while another was laid to waste? Cheattanoogga is much better yes, and the other team now populated with CPUs - CHECK.

Did one team get stripped of its resources and then sold? The AAA team is populated with CPUs when it did have high level humans and now it is under new ownership - CHECK.

After a careful analysis I have concluded that what we have here is something new, a hybrid if you will. Collud-i-gutting? Gutt-llusion?

Thank you. They both knew what they were doing and probably knew it was cheating too. Sad.

Too late cheater, scotland yard is on the way already. Arlon Specter has also called for a congressional hearing. I think it is appalling that you feign surprise that people are taking this so seriously and that you were asking previously what the definition of gutting was as though you were not aware. As far as the levels of the players in question goes that is really irellavent. Some of the levels of the players may only be a slight difference from some on my own team. However my players were had or developed legitimately. The ones in question here were not. By definition it was collusion (see previous post with said definitions). Furthermore while some of the players may only be of a slight degree different level as some of the talent in BBB #14, by and large they are a HUGE LOT HIGHER than some of the teams who have not been as fortunate in the player personnel department. I wish those teams well seeing as they will either have to recruit like a mother, stoop to cheating, or develop their current roster for eons to compete with people like you.

And to top it all off, you have richmond trying to trade off Banned players to get something for them. Tricky Tricky

Your missing the issue. Every other owner in this league has character. They started with a base of players and added low levels to build within their league. The issue isnt with you as a player, as much as with your owner who has no respect for anyone else in his league, players or owners. Your just icing on the crap cake.



With a Base of players? Bullshit, everytime I look at most of the rosters, they have changed. I have the only team in the league that has done this, my chemistry proves it. Every team is adding new guys to improve there team now. I like the, "every other owner in this league has character." once again Bullshit, some do, your owner has 7 of his own guys on the team with 1ea lvl-14, 2ea lvl-13,3ea lvl-12, and a lvl 9. Between him and the GM's they have 11 guys, and that character i take it? The whole respect for people, if he didn't he would not even try defend himself and explain how he got these guys. This has to be the dumbest argument I have ever read on this forum! Everyone is mad cause they think they can not win the West now so they have been cheated. Come you got 10 ringers on your team from 2 guys, so whats your point about, " Character."


What base of players? Read your own post you nitwit. Our owner has 5 and our GM has 1, none of which I would clasify as "ringers" and all of which are lower than the 10 true "ringers" you added in a day. Also, look at their drafts, I have 3 players on the team. 2 were level 1 and 1 was level 3. That is what is called building around your core.

Sting they explained this earlier. You had to read several pages back but if you start at the beginning and work your way forward they told us (I think it was Alcapown actually) that he found this guy Mamba who wanted to get rid of his players because he no longer was interested in the team and they both agreed these players should join Alcapown's team. And so Mamba released 10 players whom Alcapown then signed the same day as their release. They couldnt be traded to Alcapown's team because the trade imbalance system would have prevented it. To be fair the owners of the individual players had to be in on it to sign Alcapown's contract offers. That is assuming the players aren't owned by these said same two people using multiple accounts. The owner of the team the players came from then sold the team to another guy berift of the high level talent staffed by mostly CPUs. If this had been done small scale ie ONE guy saying cut me i want to go to my friends team or something of that nature i dont think anybody would have had such a problem with it. However this case clearly violates Bort's, the almighty creator of GLB, definition of collusion and gutting. And i quote 'Collusion' - Two or more people working together to build up one team at the expense of another, and 'Gutting' - Buying a team, stripping it of its resources and then selling the team back for the next poor sucker to buy. I hope this brings you up to speed Sting.

BTW, why didnt Slash ever just axe Axel Rose with his Gibson so he could play for a real band?

Ok, I never had the intention of picking on a lower division. I had the intention of playing with the guys I know well. I let the buyer of my team know there would be very few human players on it, Bort told me it was ok to cut everyone unless I stripped the team of money which I did not.

I had no intention of harm or collusion or gutting. They can reverse everything if they see fit.

I second that motion Billsman. No need to talk it over with anyone. If the offenders were honestly trying to make amends with everyone here who is angry they could do so without anyone else. Just cut the players, or sell the cheattanoogas. I suppose they could do both but then that would be gutting all over again.

General Terms, can you quit insinuating and warping my words. Bort approved me cutting the players from my team as long as I didin't strip the team from cash. I left the team with about 6 mil in cash.

I never asked about the signing because I hadn't figured that out yet. Your dealing with this is immature. I have been respectful and I hope you will be too from here on out.

my expectation is that Mamba81 and Alcapown will be banned and we will move on

i cant tell for sure whether you are sincere or not, in fact i suspect that you are, but people are often amazingly good at lying. but the bottom line is that what you did is against the rules. if you step back from your glow of not getting crushed on the field anymore you will easily see how what you did bypasses the integrity and spirit of the game

i mean, cmon, you got something for nothing. its not even disputed now that you simply cut players with the intent that they get picked up by the Quarantine
