i won't ask you to elaborate, but D wise it sounds more like a Madden type setup?

The setups look a little different. Not completely but I believe they run differently than GLB's defenses. Bort wanted a more realistic feel. I can't really elaborate too much about it as I don't know all the specifics on how they are different as I haven't really studied that part of the ball much since he overhauled all the plays. This was one of the big overhauls they weren't expecting to make prior to launch and it took Bort a couple weeks to sort out. Here is what they look like in the playbook.

It's very much what Bort talked about ages ago with wanting an 'intermediate AI'. The current stuff is far too hardcore for the regular user.
so why not just add that to this game? I hate regular casual and I can't do the regular stuff either, but I don't want any of these new attributes and building process and stuff. Plus the sprites running around look weird
eh no use going over the why not just do this for glb1 instead. the bridge is passed. glb2 is coming whether ya like it or not.
glb2 is a little more elaborate than glb1's casual. offensively you can actually work it a bit better imo. defensively the full custom chart could be helpful but i havent delved into it enough.

so some people like myself are stuck choosing one or the other? meh
