I feel like I have learned a lot in the seasons that I have been here. I have some experienced players, and my own team now. I feel like I could pass along some knowledge. It would be great to join this forum!

I've written an Offensive Tackle guide and I've rebuilt a team from the ashes of a 2-14 season into a 9-7 playoff contender in the USA A6 league.

I don't know what it takes to get vouches or votes, but I know my stuff. I know the ins and outs of the game, from slowbuilding until Cap 1 main skill is available, how Cover 2 is more effective in most situations than Cover 3, and how Advanced Equipment at early levels can be used as storage for bonus tokens.

I'd appreciate an invite, as I know there's a lot I can add to the forum.

TheFinalHero, Next Time Voting opens, should be on the list he knows his stuff.

I've taken a gutted team to the playoffs three years in a row, and I know what I am doing when it comes to GLB.

MISSION STATEMENT
After thinking about what kinds of forums you could create. I realized, sooner or later, someone would think to make a forum for guys who just knew the game really well. It's not enough to trust just any old person on the forum with a question and eventually, you and your GM's have all the same thoughts on things. It helps to have that confidence in a person who you can know is knowledgeable enough, respected enough and trusted enough to be giving you their honest opinion and insight. The forum is a means to reach these ends.

An exclusive group of the best of the best. The guys who GM your playoff team. The guys who have created and built dozens of successful players. The guys who have owned teams for a long time and understand the in's and out's of everything. The guys who are participating on the forums all day long, soaking up knowledge. This is a place where the GLB EXPERTS can convene and share their ideas. This is a forum where the best and the brightest can seek advice, recruit players, trade players, swap players, find elite coordinators/scouts/recruiters, discuss strategies, argue theories and test hypotheses. And let's say somehow a straggler joins the mix and does not contribute. After inactivity, agents will be removed in order to keep the flow of new ideas circulating and buzzing. The GLB Experts forum is the most comprehensive and exclusive private forum on Goal Line Blitz.

PROCESS OF SELECTION
Every 7 or so days, the forum will have a vote on the new agents who have submitted their name VIA THIS THREAD ONLY. In order to be granted access, you must have +2 votes FROM EXPERTS, NOT RANDOM FUCKERS ON THIS THREAD WHO THINK IT'S THEIR JOB TO VOTE. In our forum, we refer to votes as "vouches" since the threads are called "Can Anyone Vouch For...?"

+2 or more = Invited to immediate access of the GLB Experts forum
+1/0/-1 = Able to reapply at any time
-2 or less= Blacklisted

I let them in. All the "household" names came in first and from there, it snowballed.

Who the heck are you?
My name is Matt, everyone calls me Cali. I own a team in USA AAA1 that is playoff bound, and I also DC for two teams. Season 4, I GMed for 23 teams at one point or another. I enjoy helping people get better and I think it can only benefit the game to have a forum such as this.

What do you guys talk about?
Everything involved with this game. If you can think it, we've probably got a thread about it already.

Why can't I just join?
We've got a process. Buy into it or stay on the outside.

That's great. We've got well over 150 people in here, if two people have never heard of ya and think you're decent at this game, then that's not my problem. Get to know more people. Share your knowledge with them, as you branch out, you will have an easier time joining a forum such as ours.

How will I know what vote I got?

Who's an Expert?
I decided to stop revealing this since some people would PM me and say "This person isn't an expert" and things such as that. Language is a subjective thing, each person's definition of a word, in this case "expert," or of any word will vary. The word "expert" is not a tangible thing and it's measured in our minds. If you think someone is an expert, there's probably someone else who thinks he is. That's why I decided upon the system of letting the Experts vote. Who else would be qualified?

Do you guys have insider information?
Maybe, maybe not. Probably not. But probably.

Do you vote?
If it were up to me, we'd have a stricter process of bringing in people. Oh wait, it is up to me. Well, I guess that right now, what's best for the forum is new blood. Otherwise, if I did things exactly how I wanted, we'd lose about 30 people and the forum's activity would suffer dramatically because of it.

FOR THE 8290825TH TIME, PMing ME TO ASK FOR ACCESS ACCOMPLISHES NOTHING AND YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE VOTE. why? Because fuckers do it every day and I'm sick of it.

If you get on this thread and vouch for other people in our voting selection process and you are not an expert, you will automatically lose consideration if you're seeking it. Why? Because you haven't read the rules. You have no idea what's going on. If you PM me, you will automatically lose consideration. I get PMs every single day about this and I'm tired of asking people to read these rules. You'd assume reading the rules would be step 1, but most people just want that instant gratification and I'm officially sick of them. If you are inactive upon being granted access to the forum, you will lose forum access. If you are not helpful, inconsiderate, criticize but offer no new ideas, you will lose access. If you are a dick for no reason in the forum, you will lose access. If you're one of those types of people who likes to say, "this person isn't an expert, they don't belong here" once you are in the forum, you will lose access. Basically, being a troublemaker or pain in my ass in any way, shape or context will get you kicked out. Be a thoughtful, normal, courteous and helpful person, you'll make it. If not, you're out. Anyone with even a drop of FFA in their blood will never be allowed access. Last but not least, if you're one of the classy idiots who posts here "this forum is dumb" or says anything remotely negative about me or my forum. I'd like to directly tell you to fuck off and die slow.

Well, I have been around since mid season one and have a CB who was nominated for the USA Pro Bowl Team, I think I might have what it takes. I'm not the biggest poster, but that's fine. If I get in, I would be glad to help out, otherwise it's fine.
