Depends on what kind of guide you are looking for.

I mean there are various guides for certain things all around GLB. There isn't a full on manual as well...that would be silly.

A lot of things in GLB2 have pretty good tool tips involved so an in depth guide really shouldn't be needed. Although I know I will and I am sure the rest of the people who have had their chance to test it out will be sitting around the FAQ station when the game goes live to help anyone out with any questions.

Everything is pretty intuitive and as bhall pointed out there are tooltips embedded along the way. From the GLB standpoint, it's really not necessary. I know Bort has a dedicated 'FAQ' page, but it's really not even necessary.

Any guide would be subjective on how to best perform, not something GLB themselves would write.

Most of all, we've asked very bluntly for fine details not to be revealed (doing away with many of the things that are typically asked in Q&A's, like how certain rolls work).

Just as an example, on every player's profile page you have their skills and abilities. When you mouse over the skill it provides a description of what that skill does. If I mouse over 'Diving', it tells me "determines how far and how quickly this player can dive horizontally".

Just about everything has a corresponding tool tip.

Even the layman's stuff. Don't know what TFL stands for? Mouse over it and it tells you Tackles for Loss.

Any chance the release is this week?

I would guess sometime within this season of GLB1. We are about to start running what I would imagine is our final season of testing with the new league setup (divisions, 14 league games) and test out the playoff brackets. I haven't really seen anything with the new SA's that seems out of whack thus far so I doubt there will be much fidgeting with that from here.
