So they clearly didn't learn anything from the first run with Admins and testers actually playing the game, and starting with an unfair playing field.

Testers and Admins....... you know, those people who have an unfair advantage........ shouldn't be allowed to "play" the game. IN the financial world, insider trading gets you thrown in prison........ in GLB, it gets you a gif and a free ticket to screw the paying customer.

Huh? What was the unfair advantage the first time? That they were here first and thus had higher levels than people who got here after them? You are sounding ridiculous right now.

You are either naive/stupid, or just simply towing the company line to look good.

I just know cream rises to the top. if you were good at glb you will likely be pretty good at glb2. Outside of the initial shock of what to do with the screen in front of you the advantage isnt anything more than any person will have on a new person playing the game.

Activity: 2 groups are given a paper that is full of mixed numbers. Each group has to determine before hand how many numbers in order, they can find within this sheet of paper. Both groups are given 30 seconds. All over estimate as expected. None even come close to getting what they projected they would.
Group one projected 100 found 17
Group two projected 110 found 19
Group 1 goes outside and gets a tip on how the numbers are arranged. I tell them the numbers start with one in the top left and 2 in the top right, 3 in the bottom left and 4 in the bottom right with 5 back at the top left and so on. I don't tell them exactly where just give them a tool to work with. Group 2 just sits there and waits with nothing to review.

Both groups again project how many they can find. Both groups project again and this time both project lower numbers than the first time. Group one with tools project they can find 50. Group 2 says they can find 25. 30 seconds on the timer go. Group one found 56 group 2 found 24

Preach all day how it's not an advantage, given the tools over a group who has no tools and there is a clear cut advantage. This is proven throughout manufacturing industries. Maybe math geek nerds can't fathom how it's an advantage but a businessman can prove to you how it is.

What gifs? I can't think of any that won anything significant after becoming a tester/admin.
