Catspaw, why not do the admirable thing and release joemalaka from your team and end this situation? zerfo, I have not and will not just release a player. it's bad business, which i have explained earlier. besides, in case you missed the page (that would be the front page every time you log in) there is a freeze. you can't trade or release a player currently.

when the freeze lifts, if you would like to have a team and bid on joemalaka, please be my guest.

in fact, as stated before, joemalaka is a team owner and can buy himself if he wants. but flat out releasing him is just stupid.

just releasing him is the pretty much the same as benching him for all but special teams. if you dont get any offers, which probably wont be the case, it would be right to release him

Is it good business to pay someone to ride the bench? Sounds like a lame excuse to just not release him.

No one is allowed to release anyone right now...thats his current excuse

Obviously he can't release him now. He certainly can after the season.

We'll have to see what he does. He will probably find a trade and if not, he should release him.

I think if he traded him that would just make him look even worse unless he can show the guy he traded with knew the player was going to tank on purpose.

Releasing Joe does nothing to end this. The real issue is collussion. The fact that the Bandits appear to be punishing a player for bringing the scandal to light is secondary to that.

Per Joemalaka's wishes I will NOT be bidding on his player. If Joe wants to create a new player, the GBR Sharks would be more than happy to have a player of his high moral caliber.
