I agree with your sentiments, all smack talking aside. I think pretty much everyone does. We've always been a rushing team first, but I did reinstall in our base offense some passing plays. We just never hit those scenarios because we did so well running early on.

I'm still tweaking our run calls to get partlow and street close to equal carries, while still getting Indy 20-25 plays too. Not the easiest thing I've had to do.

It's no big deal, we held MEM to 26 points, Csonka only had a 3.8 YPC average if you take away that long run so it wasn't that bad...our offense just didn't work which cost us the game. Csonka got us in the first quarter then was pretty well held in check for the rest of the game.

True but I feel had our offense not failed, we would have been in that game. MEM only scored 12 points after the first quarter...it's just the offense wasn't there which is my fault.

With 3.8 average you can pretty much guarantee that 1 out of 4 series from 1st-3rd will produce less than 8 yards, and not even MEM goes for 4th/2+ very often.

After the first minute of the game we kept them to a TD and 4 FGs, as a defense I'll take that, and heck, 26 points every time against MEM.

Csonka did not win them this game, their defense did, except for 1 drive late they completely shut us down. Heck, we even failed on 2 4th down conversions around mid field.

Well, that's true. I'm just saying that none so far could really stop the damn guy. It's not like you can really fight him, all you can wish is to get better offensive production than they do.
