Okay fine. I wish that we play this game as soon as possible.

So, bank on them starting both at the same time.

Around here so we can managed them both

Bort and I discussed some of the specifics of a 3 division thing over dinner tonight. I'd guess it will likely happen. 14 league games, two round playoff, one wild card.

The first three games and the last three games of the season will probably be division games. It seems to make it more "fun", seeing how other people fare at the beginning, then honing your setup throughout the season for round two.

The all-star game will likely be the very last "free day" of the season. With the new format, we would be looking at a 48 day season, and probably still the 3 to 5 day offseason.

This is basically the way the NFL's 2 Conferences were set up after the AFL merger and when I began watching pro football in the early '70's. For people that like to compare dot stats to real players, they can have 14-game comparisons with the pros from the 1960's and '70's. Think of it as a "throwback" league, NFL Classic or a "prequel" to the current game.

Think you already get 4-5 seasons in plateau (if you buy the 3 extra seasons). Then your players go into the HOF league or whatever.

But why offer only 4 or 5? Why not take money from people wanting to pay to have their players longer?

All signs that GLB2 will be appealing to most...myself included

You can have your players play longer...they will be able to play in another tier league as mentioned

Probably to keep replenishing the lower leagues and making room for others at the top of the game.

A long time there were talented bots playing football.

Then some stupid agent who couldn't play the killed them all

Bort and DD two badasses got together and tried to rebuild it but instead they got dots.

Now after 5 years they found out to remake it. And yet everyone bitching moaning about it since dots are so better. Then bots.

Just sim two games in the league every other day. Gives time for ladder games and gets you through 16 games in 16 days. Then day on, day off in the playoffs.

Not interested in having players play longer per se.

I want players on the same team playing the same opponents. Creating rivalries, the Manning and Bradys of GLB, etc

Isn't the whole idea that you will keep playing many of the same teams in a division structure? Wouldn't you want to set it up to ensure longevity for the teams?

500 flex/season for team ownership in GLB2. Note: there is also an 'auto-renew' that renews your team if it is expiring automatically, assuming you have the flex in your account. Should cut down on people forgetting.

We're also going back to a waitlist.

Buy and run your own team! Team ownership costs 500 Flex Points per season, recurring. Only Rookie rank teams may be purchased; higher ranks must be earned through promotion.

There are no teams available for purchase right now. You can add yourself to the wait list for a team for 500 flex points. You will receive one at the end of the season, or if one becomes available (a pro rated refund will be returned to you).
