Perhaps as a sale I could see that happening and only if income from the game is way down. If its healthy (which Catch says it is) then there's no way that'll happen.

give us free custom eq since advanced cam along
allow it to be reset every season

also allow full va resets every season...if you change teams you are stuck in a role forever.....one team plays zone and you go to a pure man cov team or you have run team then go to a passin team with an o line....

there's a tonne of lil things that can be done but so many agents are too close minded...

This probably should go under suggestions but I've always wondered about the whole structure of flex buying and what it's used for. As it is now, you buy a bulk package of flex and spread it around as best you can with future needs kept in mind (like SEQ and boosts and team stuff aplenty). If I could've hit the "easy button" I would've increased the costs for dots and teams a little, but I would've made any flex purchase tied to WHAT you're buying it for. Wanna build 3 dots? The cost is 3,000 flex. This cost would buy you 3 low level dots (like offensive linemen and other 100 flex dots). All boosts and equipment would be free (except for AEQ... that wouldn't have to change). Amount of flex refunded at retirement would simply depend on how long you kept the dot. One and done? 50%. All the way to plateau? 75%.
PeeWee dots could then be still super cheap (same price as now) but you would get NO return on flex spent. Team ownership could follow a similar pattern. This system seems much simpler than what we have now but would work the same mostly. The overall cost to the customers would be a little lower in the end... but GLB would also make just as much as it does now.

It's the old business parable. Two bakers in the town make very good bread. It costs them 35 cents to make each loaf. One baker sells his for a dollar... the other baker sells his for 50 cents. While the first baker makes a better profit on each loaf he sells, his competitor makes more money every month. Why? Because he sells more bread. GLB could simplify it's system, increase it's initial cost for teams and dots, eliminate costs for SEQ, boosts, scrims, ect, ect, ect... and still make a better profit because more people could afford MORE dots and teams overall.

Just a thought.

And stacked up front costs are even more of a deterrent for people thinking about playing or buying flex.

Getting 3 levels for 2 bucks right now seems a whole lot more tempting than getting 30 levels for 20 bucks in the future...and getting that first purchase is the main objective of any company that sustains on repeat customers.
