You have that backwards, it HELPS your tiebreaker. I know because I misunderstood last season.

Item 1 means the most teams that appear on BOTH lists - that is, the most teams that you both picked to win and picked to lose. Thus, you get ahead in the tiebreaker by picking teams to win and to lose, because then you're picking middle of the pack teams, and picking them right.
