I have no problem with you guys sticking together, its the fact he obtained 10 very good players for nothing that greatly effects the balance of the league. If he honestly recruited such talent from the FA wire i'd have no issue.

I'm 0-11, took over a horrific team earlier this season and have put countless hours and alot of money into this. I think it 'ridicules' to group everyone together in his post, as my highest rated player is a lvl 11 and I think I have 3 players total in double digits. It doesn't matter however what the rated players are, everyone in this league has built their team through honest tactics and hard work.

So take your rock and glass house, and shove em. I agree with meathead...no way would I ever obtain players in that manner. It is unrealistic, underhanded and takes advantage of a loophole.

I'm done posting on the issue. Congrats on your little bs team there....I hope you get all the gratification you are looking for. Winning in that manner is not something I'm looking to do.

so anyway, ive sent a message to the site owners asking them to tell me if this kind of situation is what they would consider acceptable or not

if anyone reads anything related to the leagues position on this specific case please let me know as it may take a while for them to get back to me. so far ive read nothing other that what is posted in this thread

ive already informed my team owner and co-GM (i am a GM on the Rangers) that if this is ruled acceptable practice i will be resigning all duties related to the team, with my only continued involvement being to manage my players the best i can through the remainder of the season, and once this season is over i would be finished with this game

allowing that kind of behavior simply would not be consistent with the level of sportsmanship i conduct myself with, and would not be the kind of game i would want to participate in, let alone spend money to do so

Two ways of doing this; one is keep losing untill you finally end up in a lower league, or two, join a low lvl team and work your way up.

lets take this mindset to the obvious conclusion:

so team A, B, C, and D in leagues A, B, C, and D respectively all start out the season 0-3 and are getting creamed

well in your league vision, no problem, we will all just tank our teams and jump together to the a league below us

so now the teams in that lower league who were winning suddenly start losing big

again, no problem, now we just tank our teams and join a lower league

well its now game seven in that league and those teams have to scramble to tank their teams fast enough to get into the next lower league in time to win enough games for the playoffs

its a FUCKING TANKING RACE!

woo fucking hoo, that sounds like a fucking riot kind of league to play in. yeah, you dont even have to worry about building good players, you just have to network your brains out so you can gather enough fellow tankers to target one team in a lower league to dominate

The fact is, I did not cheat, I just recruited players, and i was ecstatic obviously, the gutting or watever is not my business, nor did I know that much about it. just be glad your not on our side of the confrence. those players wouldnt matter.

its ok come trade deadline time (tomorrow) I'm gonna sign my higher leveled players and a few of my buddies guys. They are 8-3 and tired of losing, so they are just going to hop on my team for a minimal fee. Maybe the Mole-Rats can finally get a win now!

I'm own Chad Heetland, the level 17 WR and former owner of the Mambas. If you guys have any questions about the deal and how it came about I'd love to discuss it. I posted my free agency offer and obtained over 250 offers and Alcapown presented his team the best out of anyone that contacted me. Plus he could bring some of my friends with as well which was attractive.

My intention was never to pick on the lower leagues. If we would have stayed here and not moved up I would never have done it, because I'm all about fair play.

You must be proud? How in the world can a win even be satisfying? One cheating owner and the rest of the quality owners and team members lose the fun of true competition. Well, they say it only takes one rotten apple to spoil the pie.

If that was your intention, you would've moved to an AAA, AA, A league, or a Pro league in the other countries. Your intentions were made clear that you wanted to pick on lower levels so you can boost your stats. Funny though, you guys ended up losing your first game. Must suck huh?

If this is that controversial than maybe we need to move. I never foresaw this kind of reception.

If that's your collective decision than we can reverse what was done.
