Its here for now, but things changed during GLB1 and there's nothing that says things won't change once the rest of the client base is brought over (particularly if the new forums are designed/modded to encourage constructive feedback).

doesn't really matter to me, I'm not even going to try it. I have heard nothing that is even remotely exciting

lol @ 9 game seasons just lol

I think that will be the general reaction. As such, I think it'll eventually change to something more similar to what we have now--an "official schedule" of 16 games with allowances for ladder games (to either be included in the official games and/or solely to move rankings up or down). Its a tough sell to provide a numbers-driven game while simultaneously setting up schedules which will generate numbers that don't really compare to anything.

And when the NFL goes to an 18 game season then GLB2 just has to double the number of games and they are there.

Ok... I simply have to ask this one question and I know many others are thinking this too...

Seriously, who are you?
The "selling" points you are offering make it seem you have more info than a simple Alpha Tester.

Just saying

NFL - We are genuinely concerned about the health of the players and their safety is of extreme importance to us

NfL - Let's add 2 more games.

so obviously the 10 teams, 9 games a season thing is here to stay so people best keep their mouths shut

22 to 25 games a season tho.

Not really sure why the league thing is that big a deal though.

*laughs* The only thing I'm selling is what I hope GLB2 becomes--the userbase will streamline the game and put the finishing touches on it IF they're given ample opportunity and encouragement to do so.

because I joined glb cause i liked football and 9 league games with ladder games is some lame video game. If I wanted to play a lame video game I'd play the Leborn James path to greatness mode on NBA2k14

Yeah, the arguments surrounding this are pretty terrible.

The CFL plays 18 games. The NFL is talking about 18 games. NCAA plays 12 games. Too bad none of them are football.

Eh, its just not the standard that most folks have wrapped their mind around. Even to those who prefer college football over the Pro game, if you say "1000 yard rusher" to them, they immediately make the connection "productive back".

Even though GLB has warped stats throughout most of the leagues, terms like "1000 yard rusher", "1000 yard receiver", and "4000 yard passer" still have meaning at the highest level of the game.

When you go through it though it really doesn't matter whether it is 9 games or 40 games. At the end of the day its just you trying to win games and get the most stats. You aren't gonna be comparing the statistics in this game with the NFL because well..there are a lot to be had in GLB2.
