Actually it was a consensus decision made by all the higher ups (myself included) and not only on this thread but a compilation of many things. If you would like clarity on the reasons feel free to pm GmanV2 to discuss.

Actually, committing Harry Carey would likely be enjoyable since it involves a case of Budweiser (for Bort, not for me... I drink real beer rather than water down mass produced American crap beer. He said pretty much...not all. He said earlier that you had to win a playoff game in order to be considered.(which is funny because that's what I had recommended and I had no idea it was his policy)

He said pretty much as in all relevant teams. He wasn't flaming the league, just letting us know what happened.

What I find hilarious about the whole "Hey, look! I'm an APL team and I want to move up! It doesn't matter that we're 7-9 and will not have a shot at winning a single game, we want to move up and Bort is a LIAR! We can't be worse than LOL, and you let them in!!!!!11!1!!" argument is that while they technically won't be as bad as LOL, they'll be even worse than BFM, Tasmania, and LSP were last season.

Going 10-6 in APL and dropping in the first round (or going 7-9 and whiffing the playoffs completely, for that matter) is tantamount to going 10-6 or 7-9 in a AAA league in another region, and we all know what happens when WL plays AAA.

I wonder if gart will lose all interest in GLB now after getting removed from that forum
