Great idea, +1, as long as energy is not used (like a scrimmage). However, its almost meaningless because if the people in the championship set the DC, and they have the championship the next, I don't think it'll exactly be their main focus
I don't know if this has been posted, but what would be the point of a Pro Bowl game if one really good team in a gutted league just had all its players in one game? Don't get me wrong, I like the idea. But I think the competiveness of GLB should be fixed before this is implemented. And I don't mean two or three teams going at it one season at a time, I mean a whole conference actually having a part.
+1 to OP, just needs some prereqs before the idea's potential can be fully maximized.
+1. Love this. I've twice had players finish up #1 in the league at their position, with nothing to show for it on their awards page once the new season started. I'm betting i'm one of the few who actually watches the NFL ProBowl, but love all-star games, especially when injuries are not an issue.
