You're not that naive, you know what I/we are referring to. You gave up nothing to get them, which is where you DID do something wrong. What other major sport does that happen in, where a team gives up 10 top of the line players for nothing????? It was cheap, juvenile, and insulting to everyone who tries to build a team with any kind of integrity towards fair and honest play. You mean to tell me you didn't feel at all cheap giving up nothing for 10 players????? You didn't feel that at all cheated the fair play and balance of the league??? You didn't feel at all that the team/league you 'robbed' those players from would be effected?

Stop looking for loopholes......i'm seriously doubting I will put any more money into this game until they work out ways to stop this kind of cheating. It's a waste of my time and money putting countless hours into this game only to have some juvenile jerk pull this kind of crap.

The problem is that, no one should have been able to join one of the newly created teams if the were over such a level. Bringing level 16's to come play against level 10's is jsut ridiculous...

The Mambas were tired of getting roasted in their league and wanted competition closer to their level.
Two ways of doing this; one is keep losing untill you finally end up in a lower league, or two, join a low lvl team and work your way up.

They decided to go with the 2nd option and Alcapown just was lucky enough to get the deal.

Not sure if I can agree with the decision of the Mambas (could have chosen a league that would have been a bit more challenging), but I do understand why they did it though (they really were out of their league back there tbh).

how does that make it right for a team in a competitive league, or any league for that matter to add 10 very good players for nothing? It is a loophole.

Sounds like they just want to boost their stats and play in the lower leagues. Yard Dog, I completely agree. The teams in this league, for the most part, built their teams from scratch with low levels and they all grew together. Its frustrating when you bring in players who should be in pro leagues to one of the new leagues.

What Alca did was legit by game rules, but I doubt he'll get much respect from anyone.

Funny. My other player was traded to the Mambas while they were dumping players. The guy that was GMing the Mambas (theboss) bought them and renamed them the South Beach Soldiers. http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=37I asked to be released because of my crappy contract, but instead was traded to another team.

I made a big mistake with that player signing a long term deal for so little. He was my first player and I didn't know better.

Yes, sir, it is Brick McStone. My original team owner never gave me that raise he promised, but I didn't complain because he was still starting. Then he traded for another lineman. I asked him what was going on and he said he would release me. Next thing I know, I'm traded to the the Mambas, who were gutted. Most of the team were CPU players. theboss wouldn't release me, but traded McStone to the Shogun Vikings. At least he's starting.

i suspect that it has already been reported to the developers but i plan to inform them myself that this is the exact kind of behavior that is going to make me stop funding their site

ive spent a hundred bucks trying to build players and teams the honorable way. i will be damned if somebody is going to crank ten high level players onto their team through this kind of unsportsmanlike shady dealing - and continue to have my money help pay for it

whether or not it ends up being officially called 'cheating' is irrelevant. ive already explained exactly why it is directly counter to the spirit of the game

and if you guys want to decide that you are ok with this kind of something for nothing game, thats fine. but there wont be another penny of my money going into that kind of game

Thank you Bixby for your support, Im glad some dont just point fingers, I did not cheat nor will I ever. I understand all sides of the spectrum, but one thing is for sure I cant wait to get out of this league, Ive never seen so many people jump to conclusions and try to tarnish my rep before even trying to learn all the facts. And ya,to get back to football. We are in one of the most competitive leagues, this should be an awesome playoff coming up!

Most of the guys on here bitching have LVL 13, 14, 15, and 16 guys on your team so WTF. We still beat this team and our highest rated player at the time was a LVL 10 (only and hand full). I think it is kinda funny that all of you are bitching about how he got this guys when yall have tons of your own guys on your team or a bunch of you buddy’s players on your team. Its ridicules…..a good game plane can take away these guys, move on, get over it. Most teams have better backups then I have starters, you hear me on hear crying like a little girl…..no you don’t. The guy has the players, game plan for them and get over it. You may have to put a few more minutes into your game planning, MOVE ON. He did nothing wrong. If most of you owners could have gotten these guys you would have too….fuck’n funny, throwing rocks in glass houses.

I like how everybody is saying we should have been in the pro leagues. Did you even see how bad we lost? We were third worst in the AAA league.
