GG CCIA, you had a great first season in the pros, and you'll have a lot to build on for next year.
You know, you guys beat us so badly that it probably looked like a patsy win to the casual observer, but I'm sad to say I worked pretty hard on that game, which makes your win more impressive than it appears. I still am getting a feel for what I can and cannot get away with against a heavy safety blitz defense, but from the lessons learned in this latest game I feel better that I'll be able to be much more effective against it going forward. Also, falling behind by a big margin never helps as then we have fewer reasonably options to choose from and it's easier to defend against us. Your defense played very well, but the best thing you did was on offense in the 1st half (but not in the 2nd???) I didn't have enough time to do everything that I wanted defensively, but I got quite a bit done, and in a lot of cases where you made plays we were in about a good a position defensively as a team could reasonably be. And it was all early in the game, because we held you guys to 3 points in the 2nd half, which is about what we should have done the first half in not for some phenomenal individual efforts by some (one in particular) of your players -
here's the 2nd play from scrimmage in the game - freaking Chakra breaks the tackles of a MLB, another LB and a FS to go 71 yards

next play, again breaks the tackles of 2 of those same players and scores

over and over again, in the first half, you guys were getting plays like this. When you didn't get 'em, a lot of times you were going 3 and out, so it was either hit or miss. Then in the 2nd half, same plays and we made the tackles over and over again, and you guys did nothing???
Chakra in particular deserves this win. You played well as a team, but he won it.
